  • Patent number: 12273788
Abstract: A UE may communicate with at least one wireless device based on a first subscription and a second subscription. At high speeds, the UE may be unable to reliably transmit a sidelink transmission while the second subscription is in use. The UE may maintain the second subscription in an idle mode based on a speed state of the UE. The UE may transmit a sidelink transmission while the second subscription is in the idle mode to increase a reliability of the sidelink transmission.

  • Publication number: 20250069496
Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a roadside unit (RSU) or a set of RSUs to assist vehicles to control their headlights, such as switching between high beam(s) and low beam(s) or adjusting the brightness, intensity, and/or range of their headlight beam(s) to improve road safety. In one aspect, an RSU receives at least one of a first message that includes first information associated with a first vehicle or a second message that includes second information associated with a second vehicle. The RSU transmits, based on at least one of the first message or the second message, an indication to modify at least one of a first set of parameters associated with a first lighting system at the first vehicle or a second set of parameters associated with a second lighting system at the second vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230209477
Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communications at a first UE may include a memory and at least one processor couple to the memory. The memory and the at least one processor may be configured to select one or more of a PC or a transmission scheme in response to the first UE meeting a speed state threshold. The memory and the at least one processor may be further configured to transmit a sidelink transmission using the one or more of the PC or the transmission scheme based on the first UE meeting the speed state threshold.

  • Patent number: 10616929
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for Internet resource sharing between multiple subscribers, for example, a first subscriber and a second subscriber, each of which may be in active communications with a cellular network or in a standby mode. It may be determined whether to use an internet connectivity provided by the first subscriber for an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service on the second subscriber. The second subscriber may conduct the IMS service via internal hotspot provided by the first subscriber or via the second subscriber's own cellular network, or switch between the two. A packet data network connection may be established to transport IMS data and signaling between the second subscriber and a gateway of the second network through the first network.
