  • Patent number: 11596328
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to health monitoring and assessment systems, and more particularly to perform postural stability assessment of a user and quantify the assessed postural stability. In an embodiment, the system, by monitoring specific actions (which are part of certain tests done for the postural stability assessment) being performed by a user, collects inputs which are then processed to determine SLS duration, the body joint vibration, and the body sway area of the user, while performing the tests. By processing the SLS duration, the body joint vibration, and the body sway area together, a postural stability index score for the user is determined, and based on this score, postural stability assessment for the user is performed.

  • Patent number: 10980447
Abstract: Body joint tracking is applied in various industries and medical field. In body joint tracking, marker less devices plays an important role. However, the marker less devices are facing some challenges in providing optimal tracking due to occlusion, ambiguity, lighting conditions, dynamic objects etc. System and method of the present disclosure provides an optimized body joint tracking. Here, motion data pertaining to a first set of motion frames from a motion sensor are received. Further, the motion data are processed to obtain a plurality of 3 dimensional cylindrical models. Here, every cylindrical model among the plurality of 3 dimensional cylindrical model represents a body segment. The coefficients associated with the plurality of 3 dimensional cylindrical models are initialized to obtain a set of initialized cylindrical models. A set of dynamic coefficients associated with the initialized cylindrical models are utilized to track joint motion trajectories of a set of subsequent frames.

  • Publication number: 20190115109
Abstract: Unimaginable are the difficulties faced by patients affected by sensory-motor disabilities while executing day to day activities. The flamboyant progress that has made in other areas of medical science does not translate itself in diagnosing them. Early detection and personalized therapy of these disorders is still out of reach. Present disclosure provides systems and methods for optimizing a joint cost function and detecting neuro muscular profiles (e.g., state of user under observation) thereof by implementing a model that quantifies these disorders in terms of a cost functional, which captures the trade-off between the torques applied and the velocities experienced at the joints. Estimation of this cost functional, otherwise known as Inverse optimal control was then carried out using an optimization procedure.

  • Patent number: 10068333
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying body joint location includes obtaining skeletal data, depth data and red, green, and blue (RGB) data pertaining to a user, obtaining, using input data, an estimate of body joint locations (BJLs) and body segment lengths (BSLs), iteratively identifying, based on the depth data and RGB data, probable correct BJLs in a bounded neighborhood around BJLs that are previously obtained, comparing a body segment length associated with the probable correct BJLs and a reference length, identifying candidate BJLs based on comparison, determining a physical orientation of each body segment by segmenting three dimensional (3D) coordinates of each body segment based on the depth data and performing an analysis on each segmented 3D coordinate. A corrected BJL is identified based on a minimal deviation in direction from the physical orientation of a corresponding body segment along with a feature descriptor of the RGB data and depth data.

Abstract: A system and method for providing multi-processor data plane architecture have been provided. The method comprises selecting several processing units for performing an egress data process and an ingress data process. A number of processing units are selected for performing an egress data process based on a type of switch and data rate. Several processing pipes are provided for each processing unit. Each processing pipe is divided into several processing stages based on a number of lookup tables used in the egress data process and the ingress data process to absorb a response time of a memory device. The data is stored in several databases in each processing unit, and the databases are copied into several banks to increase an access time with a storage device, such as DDR-SDRAM. Several headers are resynchronized using a fixed delay time through an ACL unit.

  • Publication number: 20180085045
Abstract: A method and system for determining postural balance of the person is provided. The disclosure provides a single limb stance body balance analysis system which will aid medical practitioners to analyze crucial factor for fall risk minimization, injury prevention, fitness and rehabilitation. Skeleton data was captured using Kinect. Two parameters vibration-jitter and force per unit mass (FPUM) are derived for each body part to assess postural stability during SLS. Further, the vibration and force imposed on each joint a first balance score was quantified. A first balance score and a second balance are also calculated by combining vibration index and SLS duration to indicate the postural balance of the person. The vibration index is computed from the vibration profile associated different body segments.
