  • Publication number: 20260007457
Abstract: An electrosurgical pencil includes a handle housing. A light source is disposed within the handle housing and is configured to generate light for illuminating a surgical site. A light-transmitting nozzle formed of a resin is disposed in proximity to the light source and defines a fluid lumen in fluid communication with a fluid lumen of the handle housing for suctioning surgical smoke from a surgical site. The light-transmitting nozzle is configured to transmit light generated by the light source. An electrode extends from a distal end portion of the handle housing and through an aperture defined by the light source. The electrode is configured to deliver electrosurgical energy to tissue.

  • Publication number: 20230414089
Abstract: Devices and Expert Systems for Intubation and Bronchoscopy incorporating a robotic scope and a self-learning neural network via a processing chip in the handle of the device. Sensors in a distal portion of the robotic scope provide input to the processing chip that determines future policies according to the current data received and past data stored. The distal portion of the device is directed to a target by a robotic scope directed by the processing chip.

  • Patent number: 11043263
Abstract: A device includes an amplifier, a plurality of selector circuitries, and a plurality of fabric dies. The amplifier is configured to output a supply power signal. Each selector circuitry of the plurality of selector circuitries receives the supply power signal from the amplifier. Each fabric die of the plurality of fabric dies has a corresponding selector circuitry of the plurality of selector circuitries. Each selector circuitry corresponding to a die of the plurality of dies is configured to provide the supply power signal received from the amplifier to its corresponding die responsive to a selection signal being asserted. Selector circuitries of the plurality of selector circuitries corresponding to unselected dies of the plurality of dies pull address supply power for the unselected dies to an input other than the supply power signal of the selector circuitries corresponding to the unselected die.

  • Patent number: 8225911
Abstract: A brake pad assembly is provided that includes a backing plate including a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and at least one opening. Also included are a friction material associated with the backing plate and a shim plate having a first shim surface and a second shim surface, and a tab projecting from the second shim surface. The shim plate is securely fastened to the backing plate by inserting the tab into the opening such that the friction material, when plastic, embeds the tab inside the opening by flowing through the opening, and subsequently hardens around the tab.
