  • Patent number: 11081190
Abstract: A method for data recovery in a memory array of a non-volatile memory system, wherein the method comprises detecting an electrical short between a word line (WL) of a memory cell transistor and a local source line (LI) of a memory structure of the array, increasing an initial voltage bias at the local source line to a second voltage bias that exceeds a threshold voltage of the shorted memory cell transistor and a voltage level of a bit line of the memory structure, thereby causing a sensing current to flow in a direction from the local source line to the bit line, and sensing at a sense amplifier of the memory structure the sensing current.

  • Patent number: 10564861
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for reducing a temperature of one or more non-volatile memory (NVM) dies of a solid state drive (SSD). The methods and apparatus detect a temperature of one or more NVM dies of a plurality of NVM dies of the SSD, the plurality of NVM dies including at least one parity NVM die, and determine that the one or more NVM dies is overheated when the detected temperature is at or above a threshold temperature. If the detected temperature is at or above the threshold temperature, the methods and apparatus redirect parity data designated for the at least one parity NVM die to the one or more overheated NVM dies. By repurposing the one more overheated NVM dies to store the parity data, the repurposed dies will experience less activity, and therefore, generate less heat without throttling or reducing the workload capability of the dies.

Date of Patent: February 18, 2020

  • Patent number: 9277050
Abstract: A method for providing access to a socio-RBT service is provided. The socio-RBT service enables updating social networking website profile of a user with RBT related information of the user. The method enables, firstly, receiving socio-RBT subscription information from the user. The socio-RBT subscription information comprises at least one unique identifier of the user. Secondly, the method enables verifying one or more predetermined conditions related to the user. The one or more predetermined conditions facilitate to determine if the user is eligible to access the socio-RBT service. Further, the method enables mapping the unique identifier of the user with a unique identifier of the user's social networking website profile. The method further enables obtaining RBT subscription information corresponding to the mapped unique identifier of the user.
