  • Patent number: 11942199
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are disclosed to initialize a pharmacy application in a mobile computing device, the pharmacy application configured to prompt a user for a location acceptance via a question prompt notification. The pharmacy application may be launched in a background process of the mobile computing device, without user intervention, wherein the pharmacy application is configured to transmit a location of the mobile computing device and customer identification information to a remote pharmacy computing system, and receive a ready prescription including a pickup location at a predetermined pharmacy location from the remote pharmacy computing system. When the mobile computing device is within a proximity of the predetermined pharmacy location, the pharmacy application may display, on the mobile communication device, an indication that the ready prescription is available at the pickup location.

  • Patent number: 11667498
Abstract: A system including one or more processors, one or more non-transitory storage mediums, a data file, and executable instructions. The processor is configured to receive a door close signal from a door close selector and a door open signal from at least one of a door open selector and a door obstructed sensor. The data file is stored in the non-transitory storage medium and includes a door open time duration associated with at least one of the door open signal and the door close signal. The executable instructions are stored in the non-transitory storage medium and is executed by the processor. The executable instructions are configured to generate the door open time duration based on at least one of the door open signal and the door close signal. The processor is configured to output a door open command based, at least in-part, on the door open time duration.

  • Patent number: 10923946
Abstract: A backup power supply system and a method for providing power to an electrical load are provided. The system includes at least one supercapacitor, a battery and a power supply controller. The controller is configured to determine whether an output of a primary power supply for the load meets a first predetermined condition, determine, when the output of the primary power supply does not meet the first predetermined condition, a level of current required by the load, provide current to the load from the supercapacitor if the level of current required by the load meets a second predetermined condition, and, provide current to the load from the battery if the level of current required by the load does not meet the second predetermined condition until an output of the battery meets a third predetermined condition and thereafter provide current to the load from the supercapacitor.

  • Patent number: 10430556
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are disclosed to notify and route a customer to a prescription pickup location. A communication device detects the proximity of a prescription customer to an associated pharmacy location. The customer is then notified when the prescription is available at the pharmacy location based on identifying customer information and the location information. Once the pharmacy location is detected, the communication device sends the identifying customer information and the location information to a pharmacy computing device. The communication device then displays a notification that a prescription is available for the prescription customer at the pharmacy based on a determination made by the pharmacy computing device using the location information and the identification information. In addition, the communication device can display a map of the pickup location, various prompts to the customer to establish payment and/or to determine whether the customer has questions for pharmacy staff.
