Publication number: 20250022290Abstract: In various examples, image-based three-dimensional occupant assessment for in-cabin monitoring systems and applications are provided. An evaluation function may determine a 3D representation of an occupant of a machine by evaluating sensor data comprising an image frame from an optical image sensor. The 3D representation may comprise at least one characteristic representative of a size of the occupant, (e.g., a 3D pose and/or 3D shape), which may be used to derive other characteristics such as, but not limited to weight, height, and/or age. A first processing path may generate a representation of one or more features corresponding to at least a portion of the occupant based on optical image data, and a second processing path may determine a depth corresponding to the one or more features based on depth data derived from the optical image data and ground truth depth data corresponding to the interior of the machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2023Publication date: January 16, 2025Inventors: Sakthivel SIVARAMAN, Arjun Guru, Rajath Shetty, Umar Iqbal, Orazio Gallo, Hang Su, Abhishek Badki, Varsha Hedau

Patent number: 11182708Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving collaboration among participants in a collaboration system. In one embodiment of the present invention, a system, referred to herein as the “integration system,” connected to a collaboration system monitors for comments or updates pertaining to a work item involving a customer problem to be resolved by different participants of the collaboration system. These comments or updates for completing the work item are analyzed. After analyzing the comments or updates, strategies are derived for completing the work item based on the analysis of the comments or updates as well as based on stored data of previously resolved work items. The derived strategies are then presented to the appropriate participant(s) to resolve the work item, such as based on the roles of the participant(s) that would most effectively and efficiently perform the strategy.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2019Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Abhishek Shetty Balakrishna, Sivaranjani Kathirvel, Shunmugaraja Periadurai, Sriharidatta Sriharidatta

Patent number: 10576509Abstract: An all-in-one cleaning device, e.g., such as may be used in cleaning the inside of a shower. The device may provide the ability to dispense the composition carried within the device itself, and scrub the composition into or against the surfaces to be cleaned (e.g., shower walls, floors, corners, etc.). Activation of the dispensing mechanism of the cleaning device may dispense a metered dose of composition, in a generally horizontal direction, onto and/or into a nonwoven or other substrate. The dispensing mechanism may not rely on gravity for dispensing, and may be sealed to prevent unwanted backflow of shower water or other material, preventing contamination.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2018Date of Patent: March 3, 2020Assignee: THE CLOROX COMPANYInventors: Kristina Perlas, Jared Heymann, Steven J. Tomkins, Rashda Khan, Aidee Duarte, Kerry D. Azelton, Abhishek Shetty, Arun Agarwal, Sacha Connor, Miranda Helmer, Selina Wang, HyunJoo Lee, Courtney Lytle, John Jamieson, Janiece Hope

Publication number: 20170190993Abstract: Disclosed herein is the use of coatings on charcoal heating materials, such as charcoal briquets, to enhance burn properties. It has been discovered that if one half of a pile of charcoal briquets is dosed with lighter fluid and the other half remains undosed, the entire pile of briquets will light and burn. Thus, the amount of lighter fluid necessary to light a pile of charcoal briquets can be reduced by fifty percent. However, over time (2 to 3 months), the lighter fluid migrates from the dosed briquets to the undosed briquets. Therefore, it has been found that by coating the undosed briquets with a material that prevents the lighter fluid from migrating onto them, solvent migration is reduced and/or eliminated. The coated briquets light a little later than the uncoated briquets resulting in an extension of the cooking phase.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2017Publication date: July 6, 2017Inventors: Abhishek Shetty, Nicole Doan, Aryn B.
