Abstract: The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles with a waist panel and a pocket positioned between a topsheet and a backsheet. The waist panel is bonded with a garment facing surface of the topsheet. A first region of a second surface the waist panel is bonded with a wearer facing surface of the backsheet, and a second region is unattached to the backsheet to define a pocket between the second region and the backsheet. The pocket comprises an opening defined by a slit in the topsheet. In an assembly method, a slit is cut into a first carrier substrate. An elastic part is sandwiched between the first carrier substrate and a second carrier substrate. A first region of the elastic part is bonded with the second carrier substrate, and a second region remains unattached to the second carrier substrate to define a pocket with an opening defined by the slit.

Abstract: A disposable defecation pocket for containing feces is disclosed. The pocket has an opening, a perimeter around the opening, a bottom, and a side wall. The pocket is able to expand from a flat, collapsed configuration to an erected configuration, wherein the erected configuration provides a void volume inside the pocket. The pocket is, at least partly, in its erected configuration in the absence of any applied pressure.

Abstract: An absorbent article having a garment-facing surface, a wearer-facing surface, a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and backsheet, and a component comprising a laminate. The laminate includes a first nonwoven substrate, a second nonwoven substrate, and a plurality of elastic strands positioned at least partially intermediate the first and second nonwoven substrate. The first nonwoven substrate includes a first plurality of fibers having a first color and a second plurality of fibers having a second color. The first and second colors are different. The laminate includes a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The first nonwoven substrate forms a portion of the first side and the first side includes a plurality of disruptive coloring clusters. At least a pair of disruptive coloring clusters have a E of greater than two in a relaxed and/or extended state.

Abstract: Absorbent articles having a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, an absorbent core disposed at least partially between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a pair of barrier leg cuffs is provided. Each barrier leg cuff is formed from a single web of material and has a backfolded inner cuff with an inner folded edge, a backfold folded edge, an inner elastic element, and a backfold elastic element. The inner elastic element may be disposed proximate the inner folded edge, and the backfold elastic element may be disposed proximate the backfold folded edge. At least a portion of the backfolded inner cuff may be configured to overlap the topsheet when the absorbent article is in a flat, uncontracted configuration.
