  • Patent number: 12381468
Abstract: Techniques for measuring average inductor charging current in a switched-power circuit avoid incurring measurement delay or a requirement of a complex filter. An inductor charging current measurement circuit coupled to a power output stage of the switched-power circuit measures an average charging current in an inductor of the switched-power circuit using pair of capacitors to sample an output voltage of the power output stage at different cycle times of an inductor current waveform. The measurement circuit includes a switch that connects the pair of capacitors together to provide a measurement indicative of the average inductor charging current by sharing charge between the first capacitor and the second capacitor to provide the measurement voltage. The provided measurement voltage is indicative of an average of an estimated peak and an estimated valley of the inductor current waveform, which may be used to make determinations regarding a magnitude of the load current.

  • Patent number: 12381951
Abstract: An edge computing platform with machine learning capability is provided between a local network with a plurality of sensors and a remote network. A machine learning model is created and trained in the remote network using aggregated sensor data and deployed to the edge platform. Before being deployed, the model is edge-converted (“edge-ified”) to run optimally with the constrained resources of the edge device and with the same or better level of accuracy. The “edge-ified” model is adapted to operate on continuous streams of sensor data in real-time and produce inferences. The inferences can be used to determine actions to take in the local network without communication to the remote network. A closed-loop arrangement between the edge platform and remote network provides for periodically evaluating and iteratively updating the edge-based model.

  • Publication number: 20250247754
Abstract: Methods for a New Radio (NR)-based, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) are proposed to improve cell selection and reselection by using satellite assistance information. Different from traditional 5G New Radio systems, the LEO NTN can provide the next cell information along the satellite trajectory using System Information Broadcast (SIB). The assistance information can include satellite's long term ephemeris in the format of Position Velocity (PV) information or details of satellite's other orbital parameters. During TN-NTN join coverage, as TN cells are expected to have a better coverage then NTN cells, the network can assign higher priority to the TN cells over NTN cells. Similarly, for a mobility involving earth-fixed and earth-moving beams (cells), earth-fixed cells can be prioritized over earth-moving beams for cell reselection.

  • Publication number: 20250247678
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for reliable delivery of enhanced broadcast services (EBCS) downlink (DL) packets to wireless stations (STAs) that support EBCS (also referred to as “EBCS STAs”) and maintaining interoperability with STAs that do not support EBCS. A wireless communication device may broadcast one or more EBCS DL packets carrying data associated with an EBCS service. In some aspects, the wireless communication device may subsequently transmit a trigger frame soliciting information indicating which, if any, of the EBCS DL packets were missed by EBCS STAs in the vicinity. In some other aspects, each EBCS DL packet may carry signaling indicating that the broadcast data is intended only for EBCS STAs. Still further, in some aspects, the wireless communication device may broadcast an EBCS traffic advertisement indicating a timing of the one or more EBCS DL packets.

  • Publication number: 20250244988
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to implementing an incremental update to an existing datacenter on a cloud platform. The datacenter may have been built on a cloud platform according to a declarative specification that describes dependencies between datacenter entities in the datacenter. When an update is requested for the datacenter (e.g., by a customer or other entity), the system determines datacenter entities that are being changed in association with the update and execution dependencies associated with the update request. The system then initiates execution of the execution dependences and waits for the execution dependencies to be completed. Once the execution dependencies are completed, the system initiates orchestration of the datacenter in order to update the datacenter on the cloud platform with the addition or removal of datacenter entities on the datacenter.

  • Publication number: 20250245504
Abstract: In various examples, one or more deep neural networks (DNNs) are executed to regress on control points of a curve, and the control points may be used to perform a curve fitting operation—e.g., Bezier curve fitting—to identify landmark locations and geometries in an environment. The outputs of the DNN(s) may thus indicate the two-dimensional (2D) image-space and/or three-dimensional (3D) world-space control point locations, and post-processing techniques—such as clustering and temporal smoothing—may be executed to determine landmark locations and poses with precision and in real-time. As a result, reconstructed curves corresponding to the landmarks—e.g., lane line, road boundary line, crosswalk, pole, text, etc.—may be used by a vehicle to perform one or more operations for navigating an environment.
