  • Publication number: 20220045065
Abstract: Described herein are IC devices that include TFT based memory arrays on both sides of a layer of logic devices. An example IC device includes a support structure (e.g., a substrate) on which one or more logic devices may be implemented. The IC device further includes a first memory cell on one side of the support structure, and a second memory cell on the other side of the support structure, where each of the first memory cell and the second memory cell includes a TFT as an access transistor. Providing TFT based memory cells on both sides of a layer of logic devices allows significantly increasing density of memory cells in a memory array having a given footprint area, or, conversely, significantly reducing the footprint area of the memory array with a given memory cell density.

  • Patent number: 11246011
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for providing cellular access of a user-defined network. In one example, a user plane function of a cellular network obtains, from a control plane function of the cellular network, an indication that a first user equipment is attempting to connect to a user-defined network via the cellular network. The user plane function joins a multicast group configured to include a second user equipment connected to the user-defined network via a wireless local area network. The user plane function obtains a multicast packet that is transmitted between the first user equipment and the second user equipment and that is addressed to the multicast group, and converts the multicast packet to a unicast packet.

  • Patent number: 11244693
Abstract: Embodiments described include systems and methods for incorporating a watermark in an audio output. An embedded browser, which is executable on one or more processors of a client device, may detect an audio data stream from a network application accessed via the embedded browser. A watermarking engine of the embedded browser intercepts the audio data stream responsive to detecting the audio data stream. The watermarking engine incorporates a digital signal corresponding to a watermark into the audio data stream, prior to being produced as an audio output by an audio speaker. The watermarking engine causes the watermark to be present in the audio output produced by the audio speaker, the watermark configured to be inaudible by a human and recordable by an audio recording device.

  • Patent number: 11245038
Abstract: Vertical thin film transistors (TFTs) including a gate electrode pillar clad with a gate dielectric. The gate dielectric is further clad with a semiconductor layer. Source or drain metallization is embedded in trenches formed in an isolation dielectric adjacent to separate regions of the semiconductor layer. During TFT operation, biasing of the gate electrode can induce one or more transistor channel within the semiconductor layer, electrically coupling together the source and drain metallization. A width of the channel may be proportional to a height of the gate electrode pillar clad by the semiconductor layer, while a length of the channel may be proportional to the spacing between contacts occupied by the semiconductor layer. In some embodiments, a memory device may include cells comprising a vertical thin film select transistor and a capacitor (1TFT-1C).

  • Publication number: 20220035961
Abstract: Nondestructive evaluation (NDE) of objects can elucidate impacts of various process parameters and qualification of the object. Computed tomography (CT) enables rapid NDE and characterization of objects. However, CT presents challenges because of artifacts produced by standard reconstruction algorithms. Beam-hardening artifacts especially complicate and adversely impact the process of detecting defects. By leveraging computer-aided design (CAD) models, CT simulations, and a deep-neutral network high-quality CT reconstructions that are affected by noise and beam-hardening can be simulated and used to improve reconstructions. The systems and methods of the present disclosure can significantly improve the reconstruction quality, thereby enabling better detection of defects compared with the state of the art.
