  • Patent number: 11958442
Abstract: A mounting bracket system for a vehicle roof, and a method for its attachment to a vehicle having a side rail including a drip well, is contemplated in which no drilling of holes or other permanent modifications to the vehicle roof is required, and in which each individual mounting bracket may be independently fixed in place without requiring any structural support from interconnections with any other mounting bracket via crossbars or other interconnections. In this regard, a number of problems associated with prior mounting bracket systems may be overcome.

  • Patent number: 11397502
Abstract: Systems and methods for redacting information from data records are provided. Data records are recorded by recording devices, including, but not limited to, camera recording devices such as those associated with law-enforcement officers. The data records are stored in an evidence management system. In response to requests for records, including but not limited to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, the evidence management system creates redacted versions of the data records. Public access may then be provided to the redacted data records. In some embodiments, automated bulk redaction may be applied to video data records by applying a video filter to the entire visual field of the video information. In some embodiments, access to the redacted data records may be provided via a cloud storage system or via a removable computer-readable storage medium.

  • Publication number: 20210149972
Abstract: System and methods for aligning event data recorded by recording devices. Recording devices create, transmit, and store alignment data. Alignment data created by a recording device is stored in the memory of the recording device with a time that is maintained by the recording device and that is relative to the time of event data recorded by the recording device that creates the alignment data. Recording devices further receive and store transmitted alignment data. Alignment data received by a recording device is stored in the memory of the recording device with a time that is maintained by the receiving recording device and that is relative to the time of event data recorded by the recording device that creates alignment data. Stored alignment data may be used to align the playback of event data of devices that have the same alignment data.

  • Patent number: 8417903
Abstract: Disclosed is a computer implemented method, computer program product, and apparatus for maintaining a preselect list. The method comprises software components detecting a page fault of a memory page. In response to detecting a page fault, the software components determine whether the memory page is referenced in the preselect list and unhide the memory page. Upon determining whether the memory page is referenced in the preselect list, the software components remove an entry of the preselect list corresponding to the memory page to form at least one removed candidate page and skip paging-out of the at least one removed candidate page.
