Abstract: A bracing system for a bottom step of a stepladder has a first brace, a second brace, a second brace, a third brace and a fourth brace. The first brace has an end received in the channel of a side rail of the stepladder and an opposite end affixed to a front flange of the bottom step of the stepladder. A second brace has an end affixed in the channel of a side rail and an opposite end affixed to a front flange of the bottom step. The third brace has an end affixed to the channel of a side rail and an opposite end affixed to a back flange of the bottom step. The fourth brace has an end affixed to the channel of another of the side rails and an opposite end affixed to a back flange of the bottom step.

Abstract: An end cover for a rail of a ladder has a body having a front and a back and a first side and a second side and a top and a bottom, a hole formed in the body adjacent the back and the top, a tread affixed to the front, at least one pocket formed is the bottom of the body for accommodating an end of the rail of the ladder, and a groove formed in the body that extends from the bottom to the top. A central planar portion extends downwardly from the bottom of the body. The tread is formed of an elastomeric material. The tread has gripper sections that extend outwardly from the front of a body.

Abstract: A ladder top has a top panel, a groove formed in the top panel, a first drill hole formed in the top panel adjacent the groove, a second drill hole formed in the top panel, a magnet box formed in the top panel adjacent the groove, and a magnet positioned in the magnet box. The groove extends from the first side of the top panel to the second side of the top panel. The groove has a flat portion and an angular portion. The flat portion has a first portion and a second portion. The angular portion is positioned between the first portion and the second portion of the flat portion. The angular portion has a generally V-shape. The first drill hole and the second drill hole are polygonal in shape.

Abstract: A ladder levelling apparatus includes a ladder having a pair of side rails in spaced relation with a cross member extending the pair of side rails, a bracket affixed to the cross member, and a bar slidably received within the bracket so as to have ends of the bar respectively extending outwardly beyond the pair of side rails. A first foot and a second foot are respectively affixed to the ends of the bar. The bar is arch-shaped such that the ends are positioned below the bottom of the pair of side rails when the bar is centered relative to the side rails. A receptacle extends from the bracket suitable for receiving the bar therein.
