Abstract: An apparatus for transmitting pictures from a screen to pre-determined panels on a film sheet has a film sheet, a screen, two 45.degree. mirrors which are disposed in a ray path between the screen and the film sheet, a lens system which is disposed in the ray path, the optical axis of which is parallel to the film sheet, a moving device along one of the edges of the film sheet for moving the film sheet in an image plane of the film sheet, and additional moving devices for moving the screen, the 45.degree. mirrors and the lens system. The screen is parallel to the image plane of the film sheet. A base is provided which is parallel to the film sheet. A swivel flange is provided coaxial with the central axis of the screen which can be swivelled about the base through at least 180.degree. and which is optically open towards the screen. An extension housing is carried on the base, in which the 45.degree.

Abstract: A device for binocular viewing of residual light in the visible and the near infrared spectrum, comprising an optical input system, at least one singular image intensifier of the non-inverting type, a collimator, two ocular paths parallel with the axis of the device, and an optical output system associated with each ocular path, which is arranged so that a single image inversion is performed in each ocular path.

Abstract: A pair of intensifying screens are spread apart to accept X-Ray films and then brought together again with this film sandwiched between them ready to be exposed. The device consists of a deflector and feed channel for deflecting and holding one of the screens spread from the other and a pair of rollers with an endless, continuous band running thereon in a band path having a top and bottom. A grip cleat is mounted to the band parallel to the rollers and grips the pair of intensifying screens along one longitudinal edge. A pressure means has a fixed upper half above the top band path and an upward movable lower half for bringing the screens and film together.

Abstract: A monocular night glass comprising an image intensifier unit and a power unit pivoted to it by means of a hinge. When not in use, the power unit is folded against the housing of the image intensifier unit. When in use the power unit is turned through 90.degree. either or 180.degree. for viewing with one eye or the other eye respectively, the power unit forming a counterweight for the image intensifier unit in both viewing positions to facilitate mounting the instrument in front of the user's eyes, thus permitting the user to use the instrument while having both hands free for other tasks. In a preferred embodiment the hinge is hollow to receive a pin mounted on a strap worn around the user's head, helmet, or other headgear.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for transporting lengths of film in a camera, particularly for taking pictures from a fluorescent screen, such as an X-ray screen.Using a single motor, the rate of transport is made independent of the rate of exposure, thereby allowing for maximum exposure times, permitting low radiation intensities.

Abstract: An optical apparatus is disclosed which includes at least two optical systems for reproducing a plurality of data images on a common photographic plane. The systems are arranged to allow any desired orientation of the data images on the plane.
