  • Publication number: 20240076714
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to paper microfluidic devices for use in combination with a viewing box assembly for imaging and rapid identification and quantification of target analytes in a fluid sample that is deposited onto the device such that one or more target analytes in the sample react with one or more diagnostic components on the paper, causing a detectable reaction. The reacted microfluidic device may then be placed inside an opaque viewing box having an internal light source and top panel viewing aperture through which the microfluidic device may be imaged using a mobile electronic device and graphical user-interface for purposes of detecting and quantifying the one or more target analytes. In some embodiments, the microfluidic device includes diagnostic paper and abase. In some embodiments, the microfluidic device includes a filter layer on top of diagnostic paper layer.

  • Patent number: 9619538
Abstract: Techniques for data integration are provided. Source attributes for source data are interactively mapped to target attributes for target data. Rules define how records from the source data are merged, selected, and for duplication detection. The mappings and rules are recorded as a profile for the source data and processed against the source data to transform the source attributes to the target attributes.

  • Publication number: 20140279972
Abstract: Data cleansing and standardization techniques are provided. A user interactively defines rules for cleansing and standardizing data of a source dataset. The rules are applied to the data and varying degrees of results and metrics associated with applying the rules are presented to the user for inspection and analysis.

  • Publication number: 20130275504
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for providing a community of interest network (CoIN) may include a publisher configured to provide content to a user across a network, the publisher configured to identify a CoIN parameter based on user network activity. A communications services provider may be configured to provide communications services to the user across the network based on the identified community of interest network.

  • Publication number: 20060233137
Abstract: A wireless communications network includes a wireless-specific router topology layer that connects cellular sites to a wireline topology. The wireless-specific router topology provides a distributed architecture in which call processing including call setup, resource preservation, air bandwidth allocation, switching, soft handoff, and micromobility is performed at the cell level. The wireless routers are technology independent to support various cellular technologies. The wireless router may include a first interface operable to communicate wireless packets for a call with a remote device and a second interface operable to communicate wireline packets for the call with the wireline network. A traffic controller is coupled to the first and second interfaces and operable to convert traffic between the wireless and wireline packets and to route packets to a destination mobile or wireline device.

  • Publication number: 20050286559
Abstract: A method and system for sharing over-allocated bandwidth between different classes of service in a wireless network. Traffic is transmitted for a first service class in excess of bandwidth allocated to the first service class using unused bandwidth allocated to a second class. After transmitting traffic for the first service class in excess of bandwidth allocated to the first service class using unused bandwidth allocated to a second class, traffic for a third service class is transmitted in unused bandwidth remaining in the second service class.

  • Publication number: 20050153697
Abstract: A method and system for dynamic soft handoff resource allocation in a wireless communications network includes determining a wireless path characteristic individually for each path of a macro diversity connection between a mobile device and a plurality of wireless sites. Wireless resources are allocated for the macro diversity connection between the mobile device and the wireless sites based on the wireless path characteristic. The wireless path characteristic includes a location-based characteristic, a congestion-based characteristic, a subscriber-based characteristic and/or a performance-based characteristic.

  • Patent number: 6697378
Abstract: A system of wireless network with capabilities of transporting data packets, wherein the data transmission activity of each data connection is determined using the localized air interface capacity threshold and available bandwidth estimates obtained via the messages sent by the wireless network (FIG. 3). The system provides a unique and efficient way of providing control over data packet transmissions over a wireless network. The localized wireless network capacity threshold and available bandwidth estimates are obtained via use of empirical formulae and are improved upon via the use of messaging obtained from the wireless network by the Bandwidth Estimator (302) (FIG. 5 and 6). The data transmission activity factors of all data connections are determined by the Bandwidth Estimator using the localized capacity threshold and available bandwidth estimates, along with the priority/class of traffic of specific data calls (FIG. 7).
