  • Patent number: 4398679
Abstract: The invention relates to an externally hooked storage spool for rotary winding on and unwinding elastic materials comprising a cylindrical core and two flanges, the core having wing-like catching members for catching the end of the elastic material while the spool rotates and one holding hook and one pin to prevent unhooking in an opening between the wing like catching members and the end of the strip is provided with a hammer-shaped first cut in which are produced at least one holding hole and one hole to prevent unhooking.

  • Patent number: 4333615
Abstract: The invention relates to a cassette for roll films, in particular for miniature films, consisting of a cylindrical container as the film storage chamber, a film exit slot formed thereon and a film spool whereby at least one edge of the cylindrical container is turned inwards to increase the impermeability to light, the slot comprises strips bent downwards at its lateral ends to define the width of the slot and at least one closure element is formed onto the cassette container overlapping the deformed container edge and laterally closing the cassette slot.

  • Patent number: 4200247
Abstract: The invention relates to a cassette for roll film with a spool-less supply chamber for containing the film and a protective paper strip, a take-up chamber with a spool for taking-up the film and the paper strip, a bridge arranged between the two chambers to form a rear contact surface and a guide for the film and means to retain the end of the film in a desired position.

  • Patent number: 4190216
Abstract: The external cassette casing of a narrow-gauge film cassette with film spools arranged coaxially to each other is closed on five sides and only open on the side opposite the film window. The base of the cassette casing is provided with a hole opposite the dog-cassette opening. A screw plug is placed through this hole, this plug engaging in a corresponding thread in the hollow bearing pin of the film take-up core with its thread shank and projecting slightly beyond the open worked end of the bearing journal with the lengthened part of the shank.

  • Patent number: 4181271
Abstract: The invention relates to a spool for winding elastic material in the form of tape, in particular film, with external hooks comprising a cylindrical spool core with an opening on and in which the hooks are formed and preferably also two flange discs and the film having perforations for its attachment to the hooks in the spool.

  • Patent number: 4153350
Abstract: The housing of a rechargeable magazine for 8-millimeter motion picture film has two chambers one of which contains unexposed and the other of which contains exposed film. The exposed film is convoluted on a core which is rotatable in the other chamber and is coaxial with a stationary core for unexposed film. The rotary core carries an elastic pawl which normally engages one of several internal teeth in an annular internal sleeve of the housing to prevent rotation of such core in a direction to pay out the film. The rotary core further comprises a flange which overlies the pawl and has an opening through which the pawl can be reached by a tool in order to allow for deformation of the pawl so that the rotary core can be rotated in a direction to pay out exposed film.

  • Patent number: 4148449
Abstract: The present invention relates to a photographic film cassette comprising a feed compartment and a take-up compartment, which communicate through a slot like film passageway with an exposure station inbetween. The film side wall of the film passageway to the take up compartment is provided with a depression which continuously tapers in its width and which runs out to the original surface in its depth.A side wall of the depression is undercut to engage with a widening end of the film to prevent the film from being completely drawn into the take-up compartment. A projection is provided on the paper chafing patch side wall of the exit of the film passageway to the take-up compartment to help putting the film in the depression.

  • Patent number: 4135680
Abstract: The invention relates to a spool for a flat strip, in particular a film spool, in which an end of the flat strip provided with notches formed by punching is fixed in recesses of the side walls of an encircling groove in the spool core.

  • Patent number: 4067514
Abstract: A film cassette has a casing, and a take-up core is mounted in the casing for rotation in opposite directions. An arresting element is connected to the core for joint rotation therewith and is biased toward a position in which it moves in a path during such rotation. A plurality of detent members is provided on the casing so as to extend into said path when the core is assembled with the casing, and each of them has a detent surface against which the arresting element abuts when it is attempted to rotate the core in one direction, and a guide surface which deflects the arresting element out of said path when the core rotates in the opposite direction. The core may include a stub on which the arresting element is provided, and an annular portion surrounding the stub. The arresting element may have a support portion connected to the stub, and an arresting portion which cooperates with the detent element.
