  • Publication number: 20230158511
Abstract: An agitator mill having a circular-cylindrical outer stator and an agitator having a circular-cylindrical rotor. The rotor is arranged within the outer stator, and a milling chamber between the rotor and the outer stator. In the milling chamber, a through-flow direction which extends from a feed channel to a discharge channel. Several rotor milling tools are attached to the rotor, wherein several outer-stator milling tools are attached to the outer stator. The outer-stator milling tools are arranged adjacent to and in the circumferential direction and form rows. These rows are arranged parallel to one another on the outer stator. On the side, facing away from the feed channel the outer-stator milling tools of at least one row have a greater radial length than the other outer-stator milling tools. The outer-stator milling tools of each row in the circumferential direction each have the same length.

  • Publication number: 20220371022
Abstract: A stirrer mill for processing flowable material to be ground including a mill container, a milling chamber that is delimited by a container wall, a stirrer that can rotate about the center longitudinal axis and has a rotor, and an inner stator arranged within the rotor. A ground material discharge channel is formed between the rotor and an outer wall of the inner stator, via which the ground material is guided to the separation unit and then to an outlet line. The milling chamber is at least partially filled with milling elements. A separation unit is arranged above the inner stator. A ground material discharge chamber is formed after the milling element separation unit, in the flow direction of the ground material. A unit for reducing the volume is attached in the ground material discharge chamber.

  • Publication number: 20200406267
Abstract: A stirrer mill for the treatment of flowable grinding stock. The stirrer mill includes a milling container, a milling chamber delimited by the container wall, and a stirring mechanism having a rotor which rotates about a central longitudinal axis and has an inside diameter (d351). Tools, which extend toward the container wall, are attached to the rotor. The stirrer mill also includes an internal stator arranged inside the rotor. A grinding stock discharge channel is formed, between the rotor and the internal stator, through which the grinding stock passes to a separating device and, thereafter, to a discharge line. The milling chamber is at least partially filled with grinding bodies having a diameter (c). Above the internal stator is arranged a separating device with a diameter (d30). The distance (s) between the rotor and the grinding body separating device is given by the relationship: s=0.5·(d351?d30)?5·c.

  • Publication number: 20040027911
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-screw extruder for the continuous treatment and/or processing of a bulk material, especially a product in powder, granular or flake form, comprising several shafts (3) which are arranged in a ring shape in a cavity (1) of an extruder housing (2) and which extend parallel to the axial direction (A) of the extruder. The extruder housing (2) is provided with axially parallel, concave segments (5a, 6a) of a circle on the radially inner (5) and radially outer (6) surfaces of the cavity (1). These circle segments act as a guide for the axially parallel shafts (3) with their processing elements (4) on the inside (5) or on the outside (6) of the shaft ring (3 . . . ). The inventive improvement lies in the radial extension of the axial partial area of the cavity (1) containing the shafts (3), which is located in the area of the feed opening (9), this radial extension (10b) extending along part of the shaft ring (3, . . . ) in the peripheral direction (U) of the same.

  • Patent number: 6520671
Abstract: A device for dosing and/or mixing highly viscous and non-flowable materials, especially pigment pastes. The device includes a funnel which revolves about its own axis and a twin screw arranged inside the funnel. The twin screw arranged in a horizontal position in the funnel and contacts the interior wall thereof. This arrangement ensures that all moveable parts of the device mutually strip and clean one another.
