  • Patent number: 9391797
Abstract: Aspects of the invention support different products having a host device and a communications device. The host device may interact with the communications device to exchange messages containing data objects over a fieldbus network for transporting messages containing data objects. Read/write requests to the fieldbus data objects may be answered locally in the communications device, or the fieldbus data object may be mapped to host data when host access is required. The communications device stores a profile image associated with a designated host type, so that the communications device may map the data object to host data for the host device and then exchange the host data with the host device. The communications device may subsequently interact with a different host type if a corresponding profile image is downloaded to the memory device.

  • Patent number: 8483237
Abstract: A communication module for connecting electrical host devices, each with an individual physical interface, to different external networks, where the communication module is connected to the host device via an interface and provides at least two physical interfaces, and where the communication module has a network connector which is adapted to the respective external network. In order to enable development of communication modules independently of the individual host device and to reuse them for many different host devices, provision is made for the host device to have a processor for identifying the communication module and for selecting the at least one physical interface which is suitable for the host device by means of serial communication.

  • Patent number: 6431836
Abstract: The blades (3) of a turbine of axial design are inserted into an undercut blade groove (2) of the turbine rotor (1) in a positive-locking manner and are secured by a blade lock. The blade lock comprises a mounting space (7), which is in connection with the blade groove (2) and into which a filler piece (8), which is in positive-locking relationship with the blade foot (6) of the blades (3), and a wedge (9) are inserted. The cross section of the mounting space (7) receiving the filler piece (8) is widened conically beginning from the blade groove (2). The cross section of the filler piece (8) is adapted to the cross section of the mounting space (7).

  • Patent number: 5934870
Abstract: A steam control valve is provided with a valve core arranged in the valve housing (10), with an upper valve spindle (5) guided in a sealing packing (12), with a valve cone (1) sliding in a lower and upper valve core (3b) and (3a), and with a valve diffusor (6) arranged in the valve housing (10). Piston rings (4a) are inserted in the upper part (1a) of the valve cone (1) sliding in the valve core upper part (3a), and piston rings (4b) are inserted in the lower part (1c) of the valve cone (1) sliding in the valve core lower part (3b). Clean water is used as the hydraulic fluid for the hydraulic drive attached to a connection spacer (15). At least one axial hole (2) is provided in the valve cone (1). With the upper part (3a) and the lower part (3b) of the valve core (3), the middle part (1b) of the valve cone forms an annular chamber (8), at which at least one suction channel (9) is arranged.

  • Patent number: 5363653
Abstract: A cylindrical combustion chamber housing of a gas turbine, in which the compressor air is fed into the lower, conical part of the combustion chamber housing, the perforated cone (5), through a lateral, arc-shaped inlet elbow (2). The inlet elbow (2) is directly joined by the intake distribution element (1), in which the compressor air is led around the perforated cone (5) on both sides. The tangential flow is converted around a cone into an axial flow through the holes (7) in the perforated cone (5). The conversion of the direction of flow of the compressor air is supported by radially arranged ribs (3). As a result, optimal cooling of the entire injector tube (6) is achieved, while the pressure drop in the air feed area (1, 2 and 5) is minimized, and the efficiency of the gas turbine is increased at the same time.

  • Patent number: 5037270
Abstract: A live steam passage of double-shell design for steam turbines is disclosed. According to the present invention, the steam passage is welded as a welded-in insert (1) onto the outer housing (9) of the turbine. The piston ring supoprt sleeve (2) with the piston rings (4) slides as a separate part in a sleeve (5), which the sleeve (2) is screwed onto the welded-in insert (1) with locking screws (3). A threaded ring (6) provided with a high collar holds the sleeve (5) in place in the inner housing (7) of the turbine. The live steam passage according to the present invention can be used in steam turbines, including throttle-controlled steam turbines with inner housings.
