Abstract: A vehicle cargo cover system, including a cover frame slider configured to be slidable along a slider axis and a ratchet strap assembly coupled to the cover frame slider. The ratchet strap assembly includes: a ratchet strap pivotably coupled to the cover frame slider about a strap axis generally parallel to the slider axis and a ratchet latch configured to accept the ratchet strap therethrough. The ratchet latch includes: a base, an advancement lever pivotable with respect to the base to advance the ratchet strap, and a releasable pawl movably coupled to the base to releasably latch the ratchet strap with respect to the base, and a hook carried by the base of the ratchet latch.

The front side of the adapter block having uniform surfaces extending between the top and bottom faces, the lateral sides having a first thickness, wherein the bottom face includes a recess extending toward the top face, and the recess having a second thickness less than the first thickness and being contoured to receive at least a portion of the tow hook in a mating engagement. The first and second through-passages extend between the bottom face, and the top face are configured to receive a fastener that couples the tow hook within the recess.

Abstract: A truck bed adaptor rail including an elongated base plate extending along a longitudinal axis and having an outboard portion and an inboard portion. The base plate of the adaptor rail has an inboard flange extending along the longitudinal axis of the base plate. The inboard flange extends from the inboard portion of the base plate in a direction away from and below the base plate. The rail may include adaptor retainers axially spaced along the inboard flange. A truck bed cargo management assembly may include the rail and an adjustable clamp. A truck bed cargo management apparatus may include a truck bed accessory including a coupling arm to insert into truck bed adapter retainers and a retention member to secure the accessory with respect to the retainers.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for an automatic mechanically-operated tarp/cover system specifically built for boats but which can be used with other types of vehicles. The present invention is intended for use with conventional boat trailers having a tongue and a pair of rear wheels which is designed to be attached to and pulled on the rear end of a towing vehicle. The present invention comprises a U-shaped hoop which is connected approximately intermediate the length of the trailer having one end of the a cover/tarp connected on the distal end of the hoop and the other end of the cover/tarp rolled up on and stored on a tarp bar mounted by a frame to the front portion of the trailer wherein the tarp/cover is carried on the tarp bar, which bar is turned by an electrical motor adapted for connection to the tarp bar.
