  • Publication number: 20230071323
Abstract: A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving a transaction request for a payment transaction initiated at a payment terminal device using a transaction card of a user. A predefined category of the user is identified based on the transaction request and a service application is remotely activated in a first operation mode on a user device of the user such that the first operation mode is associated with the identified predefined category. Payment transaction messages associated with the payment transaction are communicated to the activated service application, which translates the payment transaction messages to a predefined message format. In response to the payment transaction messages, first authentication information is received from the activated service application such that the first authentication information is entered by the user in the predefined message format. The payment transaction is processed based on successful authentication of the user.

  • Patent number: 11501272
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure enable a transaction to be preauthorized. A system receives a request for preauthorization of a transaction including a transaction amount and a cardholder identifier, identifies a cardholder account based on the cardholder identifier, determines a transaction timeframe and a machine identifier, and accesses the cardholder account to determine whether to process the transaction in accordance with a nonvisual communication program. On condition that the transaction is to be processed in accordance with the nonvisual communication program, the system generates an instruction to identify a capture time, determine whether the capture time satisfies the transaction timeframe, and dispense the transaction amount of cash in accordance with the nonvisual communication program on condition that the capture time satisfies the transaction timeframe. Aspects of the disclosure provide for preauthorizing the transaction in a secure and user-friendly manner.

  • Patent number: 10839390
Abstract: A host system pushing hosted Universal Resource Locators (URLs) to mobile computing devices is provided. The host system includes at least one host computing device configured to receive first merchant data and first Internet of Technology (IOT) data associated with a merchant computing device, enroll the merchant computing device using the first merchant data and the first IOT data, and build an IOT device profile. The host computing device is also configured to generate a hosted URL associated with the merchant computing device and push the hosted URL, using a URL signal, to a user computing device via an IOT device. The host computing device is further configured to instruct the user computing device to convert the URL signal into a URL address and instruct the user computing device to load the URL address in a browser of the user computing device.

  • Patent number: 10672002
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure enable permission to be obtained using nonvisual communication. A system receives a request for authorization of a transaction, identifies an account based on user identifier data included in the request, establishes a communication link with a user device associated with the user account, generates a prompt message identifying a merchant and a transaction amount associated with merchant identifier data and transaction data included in the request, analyze the prompt message to generate a prompt audibly perceivable at the user device, analyze a speech reply received from the user device to generate a feedback message, and analyze the feedback message to determine whether permission to authorize the transaction is obtained. Aspects of the disclosure provide for authorizing a transaction in a secure and user-friendly manner.

  • Publication number: 20170069003
Abstract: Systems and methods for use in permitting merchant to manage fraud prevention rules are disclosed. One exemplary method includes causing at least one settings interface to be displayed to a merchant via a sales platform. The method also includes receiving, by a computing device, via the at least one settings interface, a merchant-specific selection of a prescribed action relating to transactions, at the merchant and receiving, by the computing device, a merchant-specific selection of a fraud prevention rule associated with the prescribed action. The fraud prevention rule defines merchant-specific criteria relating to the transactions. In addition, the method includes appending, by the computing device, the fraud prevention rule to a data structure, in association with the merchant, whereby the prescribed action is effected when a transaction to the merchant violates the criteria defined by the fraud prevention rule.

  • Publication number: 20170046790
Abstract: Systems and methods for use in providing one or more indicators relevant to transactions to a merchant are disclosed. An exemplary method generally includes accessing, by a computing device, transaction data associated with a merchant, for a predefined interval and generating, by the computing device, an interface including at least one status indicator based on the accessed transaction data. The status indicator is representative of a value of a metric for the merchant during a first interval within the predefined interval relative to a value of the metric for the merchant during a second different interval within the predefined interval. The method then further includes causing the interface to be displayed at an output device of the computing device.
