Abstract: The present application is directed towards systems and methods for providing audience interaction with a broadcast media program. A producer, utilizing an intuitive interface provided by a computing device can request audience input by providing polls or questions, which may be transmitted to a plurality of remote computing devices of the audience. An audience member may record a brief audio or video file, of up to a predetermined length, in response to a question via an application executed by their remote computing device. The application may transmit the recorded file to the computing device of the producer, who may review the recorded file and delete it, post it to a website, or download it for playback on air. Accordingly, the resulting system provides the ease, efficiency, and safety of asynchronous communication systems, while allowing audience members to hear their own comments and own voices on air.

The data may be produced by a business intelligence application. The actions may relate to activities performed by a user or an agent. The system comprises an action manager, a repository, a data association manager and an implementation engine. In one embodiment a data mining engine is provided. The system enables the availability of an action in response to the execution of analytic queries to be determined based on a relationship defined by the data association manager. If an action is available, an action definition is used to invoke a target in response to selection of the action by an entity, the invocation of the target including propagating data produced by an analytic engine into the target based on metadata to perform the action.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to games that involve luck and skill, such as poker. Specifically, the subject invention provide means, method and apparatus for the generation of statistics relating to a player's luck and skill as exhibited in prior games (“luck and skill statistics” or “luck and skill scores”). In the preferred embodiments, statistics or scores are generated for participants in a poker game. These statistics quantify how lucky or skillful a player has been over a given period of time. The data can be used to enhance the experience of the viewing public, and to aid a player's self-assessment.
