  • Publication number: 20240384975
Abstract: A measurement tool comprising a base portion that is adapted to be positioned over an upper clamping portion of a brake, wherein an elongated portion of the measurement tool extends from the base portion to facilitate measurement of material to be bent or cut by the brake. In one exemplary installation method, a base portion of an exemplary embodiment of the measurement tool may simply be clipped onto a rear edge of an upper clamping portion, which may be done manually without compromising the brake with holes. Furthermore, in an exemplary removal method, a base portion of an exemplary embodiment of the measurement tool may simply be unclipped from the brake, which again may be done manually without compromising the brake.

  • Patent number: 10536416
Abstract: Aspects include managing distribution of messages from a message queue to a plurality of consumers for processing by maintaining a processing history for the messages in the message queue. The processing history identifies each message in the message queue by a message identifier and consumers having previously failed to successfully process a message in the message queue having the message identifier. Aspects also include considering the suitability of a particular consumer to receive a next message to be processed from the message queue by determining the message identifier of the next message and the consumer identifier of the particular consumer. Aspects further include distributing the next message to be processed to the particular consumer if the consumer identifier of the particular consumer is not present in the checked set of consumer identifiers.

  • Patent number: 9056359
Abstract: An apparatus for removing a lock bolt collar from an installed lock bolt extending from a joint surface. The apparatus has an outer sleeve with a tubular conduit, and a joint engagement surface for contacting a surface of said joint. The apparatus also has an inner sleeve disposed within the tubular conduit of the outer sleeve. The inner sleeve has teeth for gripping and pulling the lock bolt collar. When the inner sleeve is pulled into the outer sleeve, a ridge disposed on an exterior surface of the inner sleeve pushes the teeth in a radially inward direction to grip and pull the lock bolt collar off the lock bolt.
