A first plug is located at the second end of the body portion, with a first set of contacts configured to be inserted into a first electronic device. A second plug is located at the distal end of the tongue, with a second set of contacts configured to be inserted into a second electronic device. A conductive path extending between the first and second sets of contacts is configured to transmit data and electrical power.

The liquid cultures liquify and digest contaminants in the grease trap which are flushed therefrom by fresh water. The apparatus is controlled by a system which cyclically operates the apparatus in accordance with a preferred operational sequence and at adjustably variable time periods.
