  • Publication number: 20170203293
Abstract: This document provides devices, systems, and methods for delivering fluids. In some cases, the devices, systems, and methods include a deformable reservoir being at least partially defined by rigid plastically-deformable web. An actuator can press against said rigid plastically-deformable web to plastically deform said web. In some cases, a controller is adapted to receive a cartridge including a deformable reservoir and control the pressing of an actuator against a rigid plastically-deformable web to deliver fluid from the deformable reservoir.
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 31, 2017
    Publication date: July 20, 2017
    Applicant: Daktari Diagnostics, Inc.
Inventors: Aaron Oppenheimer, Lutz Weber, Matthias Kronsbein, Zachary Jarrod Traina, Philip Charles Walker, Andrew Boyce, Adam Casey

  • Publication number: 20150258476
Abstract: A method of repeatedly indicating to a user of an appliance that a water filter unit operably connected to the appliance has passed its useful life and a filter unit configure for use in connection with the method where the filter unit includes a fluid flow impeding system within a housing of the filter unit; engaging the filter unit with the appliance; measuring the volume of water treated by the filter unit; activating a fluid flow impeding system contained within the housing of the filter unit; and repeatedly indicating to a user that the maximum volume of water the filter unit has been designed to treat has been surpassed and the filter unit should be replaced by repeatedly delivering a normal flow rate of water from the dispenser of the appliance and thereafter slowing the flow of water from the dispenser of the appliance.

  • Publication number: 20070236334
Abstract: A mobile wireless device has a device identifier, is located in a meeting venue, and communicates with a server through one or more wireless access points associated with the meeting venue. The device receives, from one of the access points, access point information that identifies the access point, and sends information including the device identifier to the access point.

  • Publication number: 20060074381
Abstract: A system includes a remote controller and an infusion pump. The infusion pump includes an RF telemetry portion configured to receive an RF data signal from the remote controller. A processing portion is configured to process the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion. A dispensing apparatus, responsive to the processing portion of the medical device, dispenses medicament in accordance with the RF data signal. The dispensing apparatus includes a fill sensor for providing an initialization signal to the processing portion of the medical device upon the dispensing apparatus being filled with at least a defined volume of medicament.

  • Publication number: 20050222645
Abstract: A system for delivering a fluid to a patient includes a remote controller and an infusion pump. The infusion pump includes a dispenser for dispensing the fluid. An RF telemetry portion is configured to receive an RF data signal from the remote controller. A main processing portion is configured to process the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion, and control the dispenser in accordance with the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion. An interlock processing portion is configured to process the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion, and control the dispenser in accordance with the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion. The RF telemetry portion and at least one of the processing portions are incorporated into a single microchip.
