  • Publication number: 20230046320
Abstract: Techniques for facilitating non-uniformity correction calibrations are provided. In one example, an infrared imaging system includes an infrared imager and a logic device. The infrared imager is configured to capture a set of infrared images of a reference object. The reference object is substantially at a single temperature. The logic device is configured to initiate a run-time calibration of the infrared imager and generate a gain map based on the set of infrared images and an offset map associated with the infrared imager. Related devices and methods are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9099371
Abstract: A barrier-type photo-detector, such as an infra-red detector, is disclosed. The detector may include an absorber layer having predetermined majority and minority carrier types with corresponding energy bands; and a Barrier made, at least in part, of a semiconductor with a Barrier energy gap and corresponding conduction and valence bands, a first side of said Barrier adjacent a first side of said absorber layer. Metal contact regions may be disposed on the barrier layer, the metal contact regions delineating pixels where image data may be read out from the photo-detector; wherein the Barrier is configured so as to allow minority carrier current flow while blocking majority carrier current flow between the absorber layer and the metal contact regions.

  • Patent number: 7383785
Abstract: A mooring system comprising a dock attachment line, a submerging member, a submerged sea anchoring line, a second submerging member and a plurality of craft attachment assemblies. The dock attachment line has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is positioned at a dock and the distal end extends therefrom. The submerging member facilitates the submerging of the dock attachment line such that the distal end is positioned below the surface of the water. The submerged sea anchoring line has a first end extending from the distal end of the dock attachment line and a second end spaced apart therefrom. The second submerging member facilitates the submerging of the submerged sea anchoring line. The plurality of craft attachment assemblies extend toward the surface from the submerged sea anchoring line. Each craft attachment assembly includes a first end coupled to the submerged sea anchoring line and a second end directed toward a surface of water positioned thereabove.

  • Patent number: 7000713
Abstract: A blockless reamer drilling tool comprising an elongated tool body and a reamer unit. The reamer unit includes, a shaft having a first end and a second end and a cutter mounted on the shaft between the first and second ends. A pocket on the exterior surface of the tool body is sized to accept the reamer unit with a portion of the reamer unit recessed in the pocket. A plurality of pins engage the tool body and secure the reamer unit within the pocket. The plurality of pins includes a first pin engaging the tool body and passing through the shaft at the first end and a second pin engaging the tool body and passing through the shaft at the second end.
