  • Publication number: 20250180040
Abstract: Blowers, e.g., for use in outdoor applications, are provided. A blower includes an air inlet; an air outlet; and a fan assembly disposed between the air inlet and the air outlet. The fan assembly has a multi-stage fan. The multi-stage fan includes a plurality of axial fans mounted on a drive shaft and a plurality of stator fans arranged in series with the axial fans, wherein each axial fan comprises a plurality of blades each having a blade tip. Each stator fan includes a stackable housing segment. Each of the stackable housing segments are coupled together in series to form the blower housing.

  • Patent number: 12215716
Abstract: Blowers, e.g., for use in outdoor applications, are provided. A blower includes an air inlet; an air outlet; and a fan assembly disposed between the air inlet and the air outlet. The fan assembly has a three-stage fan. The three-stage fan includes three axial fans mounted on a drive shaft and three stator fans arranged in series with the axial fans, wherein each axial fan comprises a plurality of blades each having a blade tip. The three-stage fan has a dimensionless flow coefficient ? in a range from about 0.3 to 0.5 as calculated by the equation ?=(q/(A))/?R where q represents flow (m3/s), A represents cross sectional area at the fan (m2), ? represents speed (rad/s) and R represents fan tip radius (m) measured at a blade tip.

  • Publication number: 20240357970
Abstract: Outdoor tools such as a rotary cutter, and blades for a rotary cutter, are provided. A blade includes a body having a first side and a second side both extending from a first end to a second end of the body, a first edge and a second edge extending along a length of the body between the first side and the second side from the first end to the second end. The body includes a first arm, a second arm, and a planar portion between the first arm and the second arm. The blade is configured to rotate about a rotational axis that extends through the planar portion. The body further includes a hole surrounding the rotational axis. Each of the first arm and the second arm includes at least one bend. The body is symmetrical about at least one axis of symmetry.

  • Publication number: 20240301641
Abstract: A snow blower may include a frame, a rotatable auger, one or more wheels, and a chute body. The frame may define an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The outlet opening may be circumferentially bounded about a chute axis. The rotatable auger may be mounted to the frame rearward from the inlet opening and below the outlet opening to motivate snow to the outlet opening. The one or more wheels may be mounted to the frame apart from the rotatable auger to support the snow blower. The chute body may extend from the frame along the chute axis above the outletopening.
