Abstract: A vehicle power system includes a plurality of power distribution divisions, a rechargeable energy storage system, switching devices for connection of the power distribution divisions to the rechargeable energy storage system, a plurality of loads energized from the power distribution divisions, a control network including nodes for control over the loads and the switching devices, a mobile transponder and a transceiver which is connected to the controller area network and which provides for communicating with the transponder. Sensors monitored by the controller area network and proximity of the mobile transponder determine a state for vehicle power distribution system.

Abstract: A light generation and emission system and method is disclosed. A light generator generates light from a diode at a wavelength between 300 nm and 490 nm. A light beam forming subsystem forms the light to a directional light beam, and a controller that controls and directs the directional light beam to a target. The light generator can be suitably used for aiming, target acquisition, communication, identification, scanning, surveying, tracking, ignition and weapons operation.

Abstract: An induction motor having five phases is disclosed. Adding two or more phases to existing 1, 2, and 3 phase designs can boost power, torque, and speed. This document describes a method of controlling a motor and an inverter through load, power, torque, or speed demands. Cooling applications for the system and various electronic filtering methods are also disclosed.
