  • Publication number: 20220122042
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods useful for resource-constraint scheduling using visual representations on a graphical user interface to build one or more schedules across a business network, where the schedules are dynamically reconfigured based off real-time changes to resource availability, constraints and requirements that must be satisfied, where interactions by the user with the schedule at the user interface cause the dynamic, real-time recalculation of possible appointments meeting the constraints, after which a schedule is reconfigured and displayed at the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20220111303
Abstract: An assembly for rehabilitating alcohol, including a pressure controllable chamber, a cooler in thermal communication with the pressure controllable chamber, a liquid inlet port in fluidic communication with the pressure controllable chamber, a liquid outlet port in fluidic communication with the pressure controllable chamber, and a gas outlet port in fluidic communication with the pressure controllable chamber. The assembly further includes a partial vacuum source in fluidic communication with the gas outlet port for establishing a partial vacuum in the pressure controllable chamber, and a liquid collection vessel in fluidic communication with the liquid outlet port. The residence time from when a liquid is flowed into the pressure controllable chamber until the liquid exits the chamber is no more than sixty seconds. • Publication number: 20210384811
Abstract: An electric motor has a stator mechanically coupled to the rotor by a nutating traction interface, such that during nutation of the rotor with respect to the stator a tilt axis of the rotor progresses about the axis of rotation of the output shaft. The rotor and a surface of the stator bound a dynamic gap across which a magnetic field is produced by electrical activation of the motor to generate a force between the rotor and the stator. The traction interface and the gap are arranged such that, in a plane containing the axis of rotation of the output shaft, the traction interface is angled with respect to the stator surface bounding the gap. The rotor is connected to the output shaft by a tiltable connection such as a gimbal.

  • Publication number: 20210254667
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a pitch bearing or a yaw bearing for a wind turbine includes forming an outer race of the bearing of a base material. The method also includes forming an inner race of the bearing of the base material. Further, one of the inner race or the outer race defines a circumferential surface comprising a plurality of gear teeth. The method further includes arranging the inner race within the outer race. In addition, the method includes providing a plurality of roller elements between the outer and inner races. Moreover, the method includes applying a coating material to at least a portion of the plurality of gear teeth via an additive manufacturing process. • Publication number: 20210249937
Abstract: An electric motor has a stator defining multiple stator poles with associated electrical windings, and a rotor having multiple rotor poles. The rotor has flux barriers between adjacent rotor poles, the flux barriers each having a material with an electrical conductivity higher than the rotor pole material. The flux barriers are electrically isolated from one another external to the ferromagnetic material. Eddy currents are induced in the flux barrier to cause destructive interference of an impending magnetic field, such that the flux barrier effectively acts to inhibit magnetic flux during motor operation, which in some cases will result in a repulsive force that will act to increase an induced motive force on the rotor poles.

  • Publication number: 20210109583
Abstract: UPS systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums utilizing electromechanical bypass relays to switch from an on-line mode of operation to a green/bypass mode of operation include control logic to adaptively adjust the timing of when an inverter of a UPS turns off to prevent backfeeding a utility. After the UPS is instructed to transition from the on-line mode to the green mode, a monitoring period begins. During the monitoring period, a parameter related to the output current of the inverter is monitored and compared to a predetermined threshold. If the parameter exceeds the predetermined threshold before a fixed period time has elapsed, the inverter is turned off early. If the inverter current does not exceed the predetermined value within the fixed period of time, the inverter is turned off.
