A representative apparatus includes: a support frame defining a projection area; a polymeric screen of sheet material sized and shaped to span at least a portion of the projection area; a retention member operative to contact the polymeric screen along an edge thereof; and a tensioning assembly operative to apply tension to the screen via the retention member, the tensioning assembly being operative to selectively reposition the retention member relative to the support frame.

Abstract: A method of assembling a portable support structure is disclosed. The method includes positioning a first platform member, then securing a first support member to the first platform member, and then securing a second platform member to the first platform member to form a continuous platform surface. The method includes positioning a plurality of platform members to form a first continuous platform surface, then securing a support member to at least one of the plurality of platform members. The method includes forming a continuous surface from a plurality of platform members, the plurality of platform members including one or more female connectors, aligning one or more male connectors with the one or more female connectors, and engaging the one or more male connectors with the one or more female connectors.

Abstract: A portable barrier retraction device and system for retracting and deploying barriers, such as theatrical curtains. The device includes a first drum, a rotatable shaft in selective rotational communication with the first drum, and a clutch configured to disengage the first drum from the rotatable shaft. The device further includes a detachable rotatable second drum in rotational communication with the first drum. The rotatable shaft selectively imparts rotation to the second drum by selectively imparting rotation to the first drum. The second drum includes at least one spool configured to retract or deploy at least one line in response to rotation of the second drum.

Abstract: Ranking and displaying comparable properties entails receiving appraisal information comprising a subject property and appraiser-chosen comparable properties corresponding to the subject property. Property data corresponding to a geographical area is accessed, in support of determining model-chosen comparable properties based upon the appropriateness of each of the comparable properties as comparables for the subject property. A map image is displayed for the geographical area, along with indicators on the map image indicative of the subject property, at least one of the appraiser-chosen comparable properties, and at least one of the model-chosen comparable properties.

Abstract: A system for providing power and control to devices is described. The system includes a distribution box having connection points to receive power from a power supply and connection points to receive control instructions from a control system. The distribution box includes a plurality of output connection points to provide power and control instructions to the devices of the system. Each output connection point of the distribution box uses the same configuration of power and control conductors. Each device in the system uses a connection box with a connection point that can have the same configuration of power and control conductors as the distribution box. A plurality of cables are configured to connect the connection point on the connection box to a corresponding output connection point on the distribution box.

Abstract: A portable support system having a portable support having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a tapered portion, and the second end includes a footing structure. The system also includes a receiving member having a support cone configured to receive the tapered portion. The support cone has a tapered inner surface and a tapered outer surface. The inner surface and outer surface are engagable with mating tapered surfaces. The receiving member is capable of attachment to one or both of a frame and a panel for use as a platform.

Abstract: A method and system may receive a request to provision one or more computing resources, such as a physical or virtual server based on configuration information received from a user via a web portal. An availability of the one or more computing resources may be pre-validated. When the pre-validating for all of the one or more computing resources is not successful, an alert message may be output to the user via the web portal indicating that one or more of the requested computing resources is not available. When the pre-validating for all of the one or more computing resources is successful, one or more jobs may be queued in a jobs database based on the request to provision the one or more computing resources, dequeued by a workflow engine, and executed to configure the one or more computing resources.

One or more jobs may be queued in a jobs database based on the request to commit the configuration information. The one or more jobs may be dequeued by a workflow engine and executed to configure the computing resource.

Abstract: A large scale robotically movable video display system having a robotic actuator, a support structure movably attached to the robotic actuator, and a plurality of modules mounted on the support structure. The modules are arranged to form a large display area and each of the modules includes at least one light source. The modules cooperatively display light to display at least one of video and images. Method for displaying video is also disclosed.
