The metadata also includes information about the number of revisions of the article. The peer review score is displayed next to a link to the article returned in the search results from the search engine. The peer review score indicates the relative thoroughness of the peer review process that the article underwent. The peer review score is included with a link to the article when the article appears in a search engine search results.
