    Abstract: Blower/vacuum tools having reduced fan blade noise are provided. A blower/vacuum tool includes a main body extending between a first end and a second end defining an airflow conduit therethrough; and a fan assembly. The fan assembly includes an axial fan having a number of fan blades (nb), and a motor rotatably connected to the fan. In some embodiments, when ng is in a range from 17-45, the axial fan has a Blade Solidity in a range from 0.0464nb?Blade Solidity?0.089nb calculated by the equation Blade Solidity=c/s where c is the length of the chord line of the fan blades, s=2?rm/nb, and rm is the mean radius of the fan blades. In some embodiments, when the motor operates at a speed of between 21000-38000 rotations per minute (RPM), blade pass frequency (BPF) of the fan assembly as defined by the equation B ? P ? F = ( R ? P ? M 6 ? 0 ) * ( # ? of ? blades ) ?is greater than 6 KHz.

    Abstract: A cultivator tool includes a power head having a handle and a user interface. A motor is positioned within the power head and is configured to rotate a drive shaft about a drive axis. The cultivator further includes an attachment stem removably coupled to the power head at a first end and removably supporting a tool attachment unit at an opposite second end. A cover is receivable on the attachment stem between the tool attachment unit and the power head to cover a cutter rotatably supported on the tool attachment unit. The cover includes an aperture configured to receive a projection extending from the stem to limit rotation and sliding of the cover relative the tool attachment unit.

The fluid intake volume is upstream of the inlet. The outlet is disposed at a position along the rotational axis downstream of the fan. The distal projection extends away from the inlet in an upstream direction. The battery interface is coupled to the distal projection, upstream of the inlet, and suspends a battery pack in the fluid intake volume. The intake grate is positioned between the fluid intake volume and the inlet. The intake grate permits fluid flow between the fluid intake volume and the inlet. The fluid intake volume is unobstructed between the battery interface and the intake grate.
