Patent number: 11950713Abstract: Systems disclosed herein are directed to a display stand unit for a retail environment. The display stand unit includes a base having an interior and a display stand. The display stand includes a stem that connects to and extends upwardly from the base and a receiving surface that is suspended above and spaced away from the base by the stem. The receiving surface is configured to releasably hold an electronic device above and spaced away from the base. The display stand unit further includes a security cable that extends out from the base. The security cable is configured to attach to the electronic device to movably secure the electronic device to the base. The display stand unit further includes a retractor disposed within the interior of the base and connected to the security cable. The retractor automatically retracts the security cable.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: David Samuel Kumka, Clayton R. Woosley, Daniel S. Patent number: 11944688Abstract: The invention relates to improvements in drug delivery and more particularly to the use of Cell Penetrating Agents (CPA's) or Cell Penetrating Peptides (CPP's) which have been stabilized by, for example: i) stapling two amino acids to form Stapled CPP's (StaP's) or ii) stitching three or more amino acids to form stitched CPP's (StiP's). These stabilized CPP's are conjugated to a drug or Biologically Active Compound (BAC) directly or via a Bi-Functional Linker (BFL) so that the BAC can be carried though a cell membrane by the CPP. The resulting molecules are referred to as Drug Carrying Cell Penetrating Molecules (DCCPM's). The preferred BAC is an electrically low charge carrying oligonucleotide such as a phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligonucleotide (PMO).Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2022Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: SUTURA THERAPEUTICS LTDInventors: Keith Foster, Wouter Eilers, Adam James Reginald Gadd

Patent number: 11931958Abstract: A nozzle for additive manufacturing having a body having a thermally conductive material, a front side opposite a back side, a first side opposite a second side, the first side and the second side connected to and between the front side and the back side. The nozzle further has a top end opposite an extrusion end, and the body tapers at the extrusion end to a nozzle opening. A first conduit extends through the body from an opening in the top end to the nozzle opening in the extrusion end. A heater conduit, adjacent to the first conduit, extends from a heater opening in the top end and into the body towards the extrusion end and a sensor conduit, adjacent to the first conduit, extends from a sensor opening in the top end and into body towards the extrusion end.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: PRISAM LLCInventors: Pritam Poddar, Adam Foster, Xavier Tarr, Justin Kon

Patent number: 11475440Abstract: Disclosed are methods for exchanging transaction data, including transmitting a first public encryption key from a first computing device via a near field communication (NFC) connection, receiving transaction data associated with a transaction at the initiating device via the NFC communication connection, generating a transaction message associated with the transaction based on the transaction data associated with the transaction and the first public encryption key, encrypting at least a portion of the transaction message associated with the transaction with a second public encryption key; determining that a network communication connection to a payment processing network different from the NFC communication connection can be established, and transmitting the transaction message via the network communication connection based on determining the network communication connection to the payment processing network can be established. A system and a computer program product are also provided.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2019Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: Visa International Service AssociationInventors: Roshankumar Vishin Nichani, Adam Foster, Anatolie Popusoi, Youwan Thapa
