Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer program for automatically assessing a cybersecurity system's ability to meet a cybersecurity detection objective across a set of measures used to implement the objective. To assess a detection objective, the system identifies a set of measures used to implement the detection objective. For each of the measures, the system periodically computes a measure score indicative of the system's ability to effectively implement the measure. The measure score is based on a comparison the fields relevant to the measure and the fields extracted by parsers for the measure during a time window. The system computes an objective score indicative of the cybersecurity system's ability to satisfy the detection objective during the time window based on each of the measure scores for the same time window.
