Abstract: Methods, systems, and processor-readable storage media for implementing wireless communication systems with low power, long-range, infrastructure-free networking capability are provided herein.

Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a plug connector and a socket connector connectable to respective electrical conduits, wherein the plug connector and at least partly prevent or minimize rotational and/or longitudinal movement of the electrical conduits relative to the connectors. The socket connector may comprise a rotatable retainer comprising one or more flange members and the plug connector may comprise one or more complementary flange members, so that rotation of the retainer facilitates engagement between the respective flange members of the socket connector and the plug connector. Power sources are also provided which comprise the hereinbefore described rotatable retainer and flange elements.

Also specified are dates the advertisement is to run, color preference, placement on a page or within the printed publication, and a list of media outlets from whom the advertiser wants to solicit bids. The media outlets are notified of the auction and given the auction ticket. Bids are submitted by specifying the amount of advertising space the media outlet is willing to allot for the specified price.

Abstract: This invention teaches methods, and circuits that operate in accordance with the methods, for improving the management and control of pilot channel sets for a CDMA mobile station. In one aspect a Priority Neighbor Search technique is provided, wherein a list of Priority Neighbor pilot channels is maintained and searched with a higher priority than the Neighbor Set pilot channels. In a further aspect this invention provides a Dropped Pilot Channel Search technique wherein a set is made of the last pilot channel or pilot channels dropped from the Active Set, wherein the dropped pilot channels are searched for some period of time with a higher priority than the Neighbor Set pilot channels. This invention also provides a High Priority Search Set feature which includes members of the Active Set, the Candidate Set, the Dropped Pilot Set, and the Priority Neighbor Set.
