  • Publication number: 20100223284
Abstract: A computer implemented method of developing computer applications, the method comprising providing to multiple users access, over a network, to information on a data center, with a subgroup of the users having access to a sub-portion of the information that is different from the sub-portion accessible by the remaining tenants of the subgroup; and communicating with the data center over the network employing a computer system associated with a user of the sub-group to establish application functionality with the sub-portion that may be accessed, over the network, by additional parties authorized by the user. Also disclosed is a machine-readable medium and a data center, both of which facilitate carrying-out the steps of the method.

  • Patent number: 7774366
Abstract: A sharing model enables users to easily and conveniently create and share standard and custom database objects, and applications, among users or groups of users. The sharing model includes systems and methods that allow users to conveniently create and customize tabs and tab sets that define relationships between custom objects and fields, standard objects and fields, and applications. A tab visually represents a user interface into an element of an application or into a database object. Selection of a tab provides a user access to the object or element of the application represented by the tab. A tab set is a group of related tabs that work as a unit to provide application functionality. New tabs and tab sets may be defined and tab set views may be customized so that an end user can easily and conveniently switch between the various objects and application elements represented by the displayed tabs and tab set views.

  • Publication number: 20070191480
Abstract: The present invention encompasses a cleaning composition and method for controlling dust mites and allergens using glycol ether, glycol ether ester or a combination thereof. The cleaning composition preferably contains a hydrophobic glycol ether and/or glycol ether ester solution present at a level of about 0.01% to 20% by weight and is an effective miticide with a kill rate of at least 50% after 30 minutes. The cleaning composition may optionally contain: surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, soil and stain resist agents, builder and buffering agents, and a propellant for delivering the composition in aerosol form.

  • Publication number: 20070088741
Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for creating, exporting, viewing and testing, and importing custom applications in a multi-tenant database environment. These mechanisms and methods can enable embodiments to provide a vehicle for sharing applications across organizational boundaries. The ability to share applications across organizational boundaries can enable tenants in a multi-tenant database system, for example, to easily and efficiently import and export, and thus share, applications with other tenants in the multi-tenant environment.

  • Publication number: 20050287616
Abstract: The present invention encompasses a method for performing an antibody-antigen assay using an ion-exchange technique prior to performing an antibody-antigen assay. Actives from protein-denaturing solutions are physically removed from the test sample, preferably by using an ion-exchange resin. The present invention also includes a method of performing an antibody-antigen assay, which does not use coating antibody on the sample holder. These methods for removing or eliminating interferences can be used in an ELISA to more effectively, efficiently and promptly screen formulations containing protein-denaturing compounds for efficacy against proteins in common allergens and detect and quantify such proteins.

  • Publication number: 20050250668
Abstract: Aqueous dispersions of silicone oils are prepared without the need for surfactants, solvents, hydrotropes or emulsifiers by employing water soluble and/or water dispersible polymers providing inventive compositions which exhibit a rheological Critical Strain value greater than zero and less than about 0.5. Disclosed according to the present invention are compositions and methods of use of the aqueous dispersions of silicone fluids for cleaning, preserving, protecting, and otherwise treating a variety of surfaces, including household surfaces, such as floors, counter tops, furniture, walls, and automotive surfaces, such as tires, rubber, vinyl, upholstery, fabric, plastic and general elastomer surfaces.
