Publication number: 20250128930Abstract: Embodiments of a solar table mobile transport with collapsible manipulators are described. The collapsible manipulators may be scissor lifts, direct lifts, or pivot lifts, that couple to a torque tube of the solar table and provide at least vertical movement of the solar table. Once the mobile transport approaches an installation spot between installation piles, the mobile transport lifts the solar table by unfolding the collapsible manipulators such that that solar table may cross the pile line and the mobile transport can maneuver between the installation piles. The compactness of the mobile transport, especially when the collapsible manipulators are vertically installed, greatly enhances the maneuverability of the mobile transport within the limited space between the piles. Such a capability of mobile transport maneuverability in combination of solar table alignment facilitates an installation efficiency of the solar table.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2023Publication date: April 24, 2025Applicant: Terabase Energy, Inc.Inventors: Adam Hansel, Brian Coleman, Soren Jensen

The clamp further provides an efficient process solar table mobile transport is described that moves a solar table to a point of installation. The clamp may be efficiently opened by personnel at the installation point to enable access to a section of the torque tube.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 25, 2024Publication date: March 13, 2025Applicant: Terabase Energy, Inc.Inventors: Brian Coleman, Adam Hansel, Soren Jensen

Publication number: 20240424971Abstract: A solar table mobile transport with sideshift capability is described that moves a solar table to a point of installation. The solar table mobile transport comprises multiple motors that allow movement within a three-dimensional coordinate system as well as provide angular controls of pitch, yaw, and roll. Extended horizontal movement of the solar table is provided by a sideshift element that extends the solar table beyond an edge of a transport component of the solar table mobile transport. The mobile transport may incorporate wings to prevent the solar table from rotating during transportation. The wings may be adjustable such that the solar table may be maneuvered in height and pitch/roll/yaw angle into an installation instance before unloading. Such a capability of sideshft in combination of instance adjustment facilitates an installation process of the solar table.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2023Publication date: December 26, 2024Applicant: Terabase Energy, Inc.Inventors: Adam Hansel, Tyler Grushkowitz, Brian Coleman, Soren Jensen

Publication number: 20240411943Abstract: In a large construction site, it can be very challenging to maintain precise installation for multiple piles. If the piles are not installed accurately, subsequent installation process may have to be changed, adjusted, or adapted due to the actual pile construction. Validating installed piles accurately is a very complex and laborious process. System and method embodiments of pile mapping and remediation are disclosed. Three dimensional scanning is used to establish a point cloud for each pile. The point cloud is used for calculating pile installation parameters, which are compared to designed parameters to determine parameter deviations and to generate remediation schemes, which may involve adjust subsequent installation markings or pile re-installation. The implementation of pile mapping and remediation facilitates an on-site installation process with improved efficiency.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2023Publication date: December 12, 2024Applicant: Terabase Energy, Inc.Inventors: Adam Hansel, Soren Jensen

Patent number: 11090883Abstract: A preform-charge fixture creates a preform charge, which is a partially consolidated assemblage of preforms that can be efficiently transferred to a mold to create a finished part in a molding process, such as compression molding. In the illustrative embodiment, the preform-charge fixture includes peripheral cleats that are movable towards a central cleat to create a small gap therebetween that receives and constrains preforms in a desired position. The fixture also includes clamps, which are operable to engage an uppermost layer of preforms in the gap and apply a slight amount of downward pressure thereto to assure that the preforms are properly seated. The fixture also accommodates an energy source that heats the preforms so that, in conjunction with downforce applied by the clamps and/or gravity, the preforms can be tacked together, forming the preform charge.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2020Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Inventors: Todd Pelman, Kameron Butler, Adam Hansel, Erick Davidson, Riley Reese, Ethan Escowitz, Cory Bloome, Alexander Darrow, Ryan Satcher, J.
