  • Patent number: 11364630
Abstract: An industrial robot having a manipulator and a robot controller configured to control the motions of the manipulator. The robot controller is configured during lead-through programming of the robot to compare a robot position or a robot orientation (TCP) with at least one virtual position or virtual orientation defined in space, and to actively control the motions of the robot in relation to the at least one virtual position or virtual orientation when the difference between the robot position or robot orientation and the least one virtual position or virtual orientation is smaller than an offset value.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 17, 2017
Date of Patent: June 21, 2022
    Assignee: ABB Schweiz AG

  • Patent number: 10518405
Abstract: An industrial robot system including a dual arm robot having two arms independently movable in relation to each other, and a hand-held control device for controlling the robot and provided with a visual display unit for displaying information about the arms. The control device is provided with a measuring device for measuring the orientation of the control device, and the control device is configured to display information about one of the arms in a first area on the display unit and to display information about the other arm in a second area on the display unit, and to change the positions of the first and second areas in dependence on the orientation of the control device in relation to the robot so that the positions of the first and second area on the display unit reflects the orientation of the control device in relation to the positions of the arms.

  • Patent number: 10426971
Abstract: A phototherapy device with pain location input phototherapy device for relieving nociceptive pain of a body part of a user by illumination of at least a part of the body part. A controllable light source system (LS1, LS2, LS3) comprises at least one light source arranged on a patch structure (PS) so as to allow phototherapeutic illumination of a body part. A user interface (U_I), e.g. a touch panel (TP), is arranged to receive an input from the user regarding a spatial position on the body where the user feels pain. A control system (CS) is arranged to control the controllable light source system (LS1, LS2, LS3) in accordance with said input from the user, e.g. to spatially intensify illumination at the position where the user indicates a sensation of pain. E.g. the device may be wirelessly controlled from the a smart phone, where a map of the body can be displayed, and where the user indicates on this map where he/she feels pain.

  • Publication number: 20160177566
Abstract: A room organizing system (100) and a method for shaping a living area in a given primary room (101). In one embodiment, a primary room of e.g. a hospital may be provided with a plurality of controllable curtains (110) that can be extended from the ceiling (103) down to the floor (102) to create separate compartments (A). Extension and retraction of the curtains (110) is controlled by a controller (140) based on detection signals (s) that indicate a current or an intended usage of the primary room. If for example weight sensors (130) indicate the presence of a person at a particular location of the primary room, a privacy providing compartment may be created around said person by extending the associated curtains (110).
