  • Patent number: 11710058
Abstract: Apparatus and method for quantum drift compensation. For example, one embodiment of a quantum system comprises: a quantum processor comprising one or more data quantum bits (qubits) and one or more ancilla qubits; a quantum controller to control the qubits responsive to a quantum runtime; an error detector to detect errors in the qubits; a quantum drift compensator to determine a current system drift for the quantum processor based on the errors and to responsively generate a set of compensation values if the current system drift is determined to be above a threshold.

  • Patent number: 11387324
Abstract: Disclosed herein are quantum dot devices, as well as related computing devices and methods. For example, in some embodiments, a quantum dot device may include: a quantum well stack including a quantum well layer; and a plurality of gates above the quantum well stack, wherein the gates are arranged in a ladder arrangement including two rails having at least N gates each and at least one active rung, and a number of active rungs in the ladder arrangement is less than N.

  • Publication number: 20190042966
Abstract: Apparatus and method for intelligently managing heating in a quantum processor. For example, one embodiment of an apparatus comprises a quantum processor comprising a plurality of quantum bits (qbits); an arbiter to maintain an activity map data structure indicating heat values related to operation pulse energy directed at each of the plurality of qbits, the arbiter to generate a signal upon detecting a heat value exceeding a threshold for a first qbit or a first set of qbits; and a quantum scheduler to redirect one or more operations from the first qbit or first set of qbits to a second qbit or a second set of qbits in response to detecting the signal from the arbiter.

  • Publication number: 20190042965
Abstract: An apparatus and method are described for a field programmable quantum array. For example, one embodiment of an apparatus comprises: a quantum bit (qbit) lattice comprising a plurality of qbit locations; a quantum controller to execute quantum runtime code; a dynamic scheduler to analyze the quantum runtime code to detect quantum computational patterns within the quantum runtime code; an adaptive machine configuration controller to dynamically configure the qbit lattice based on the detected quantum computational patterns, the qbit lattice dynamically configured with some locations occupied by qbits and other locations not occupied by qbits; and the dynamic scheduler to modify at least a portion of the quantum runtime code based on the reconfiguration of the qbit lattice.

  • Publication number: 20070028937
Abstract: A hairbrush comprising a set of bristles that are capable of being retracted into the outer wall to allow for the cleaning of debris from the brush. The handle and the head of the hairbrush rotate in opposite directions to allow the bristles of the hairbrush to be retracted into the outer wall to the point that the beaded ends are mated with the outer wall. Once the debris is removed, the handle and the head are rotated to the point where the bristles are in an extended position and then the handle and head are locked in this position by a locking mechanism.
