Abstract: An electronic design system and corresponding methods are disclosed. The electronic design system may include a computing device that allows for users to associate material swatches to material boards where a user can manage and sort the material swatches. The computing device allows a user to search for materials based on user input or pre-configured filters. The computing device also allows for the automatic ordering of samples of materials associated with the material swatches, such as to a supplier of the material, and may automatically associate the ordered material with a representative of the supplier. The electronic design system may also allow users to share material boards across various user accounts. In some examples, the electronic design system includes a swatch presentation device that provides data to the computing device. The computing device may determine material data for a material associated with the swatch presentation device.

The material storage and transport system can include a hinged lid that is integrally connected to a wall of the material storage tray, and configured to convert between a folded-in position, an opened position, and a closed position.

Abstract: A system and method for identification and distribution of sample material include maintaining a database including information on a plurality of materials and an associated inventory of sample materials; identifying a subset of materials based on selected search criteria; displaying at least part of the information defining the subset of materials; receiving a selection of desired materials from the subset; queuing from the database and executing a distribution order by which sample materials for the desired materials are provided to a recipient.

Abstract: An automated method and system for selection and distribution of products include maintaining a database containing product information for a plurality of products; receiving user profile data for at least one user; selecting at least one recommended product from the plurality of products; and generating a personalized report regarding the at least one recommended product directed to the at least one user. The method and system also include improving the selection accuracy by updating user profile data and/or product information based on a completed product survey by the at least one user.

Abstract: A media package configured to contain a piece of print media such that a cover of the piece of print media may be displayed without opening the removable lid and to contain one or more product display portals enabling a product other than the print media to be contained in the box and be viewable outside of the box without opening the box. Thus, the media package enables print media and other products, such as those that appeal to readers of the print media, to be marketed together with the print media to increase sales of the print media. Abstract: An interchangeable retail store display for creating changeable wall coverings for retail stores. The interchangeable retail store display may be formed from a support structure coupled to a generally vertical wall in a retail store and a display panel removably attached to the support structure on an inner surface of the display panel and including a display on an outer surface of the display panel that is generally opposite to the inner surface. The outer surface of the display panel may include an aesthetic design or advertisement. The display panel may be easily replaced with another panel having a different design enabling a store to easily change appearances. Shelving may be attached with magnetism, and in another embodiment may be attached to the support structure with feet extending through slots in the display panel.
