A water aperture through the container top is configured to receive a ball bearing sipping tube which is operatively coupled to a water supply implement, but a chew shield is preferably formed integrally as part of the container top to prevent access to through the container top to the water supply implement. Hollow, single-end capped tubes may be provided to extend through one or more apertures formed through the top to allow for small animal or insect extraction.
