Abstract: An illustrative device has a user interface configured to receive a user input, a processor, and a display configured to display a temporal difference map. The processor is configured to receive a plurality of digital images comprising a first digital image and a second digital image. The processor is also configured to store a portion of the plurality of digital images in a buffer memory. The buffer memory is configured to buffer a number of digital images received between the first digital image and the second digital image. The processor is further configured to receive, from the user interface, the user input. The user input indicates the number of digital images received between the first digital image and the second digital image. The processor is also configured to combine the first digital image and the second digital image to create the temporal difference map.
