  • Publication number: 20160224069
Abstract: A glass element having a thickness from 25 ?m to 125 ?m, a first primary surface, a second primary surface, and a compressive stress region extending from the first primary surface to a first depth, the region defined by a compressive stress ?I of at least about 100 MPa at the first primary surface. Further, the glass element has a stress profile such that it does not fail when it is subject to 200,000 cycles of bending to a target bend radius of from 1 mm to 20 mm, by the parallel plate method. Still further, the glass element has a puncture resistance of greater than about 1.5 kgf when the first primary surface of the glass element is loaded with a tungsten carbide ball having a diameter of 1.5 mm.

  • Patent number: 9401854
Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that monitors a link for a slow link flap event is described. In an exemplary embodiment, a device detects a link flap in a current time interval of a link that couples a pair of devices. In addition, the current time interval is one of a plurality of time intervals that are used to monitor the link for a slow link flap. Furthermore, a slow link flap event results from detecting a maximum number of link flap violations over the plurality of time intervals. The device additionally increments a number of detected link flaps for the current time interval. If the number of detected link flaps for the current time interval is greater than a maximum number of slow link flap violations, the device marks the current time interval as a possible slow link flap interval.

  • Patent number: 9392917
Abstract: A cleaning appliance of the cylinder type comprises a separating apparatus for separating dirt from a dirt-bearing fluid flow, and a floor-engaging rolling assembly. The separating apparatus comprises a first cyclonic separation unit having a low efficiency cyclone and a second cyclonic separation unit having a plurality of second cyclones. The rolling assembly comprises a main body having a recess in which the separating apparatus is received, and a plurality of floor-engaging wheels rotatably connected to the main body. The recess in the main body comprises a plurality of shaped recesses, each of which corresponds to the shape of at least a portion of a second cyclone. When the separating apparatus is received in the recess, a second cyclone is located at least partially in each shaped recess.

  • Patent number: 9378162
Abstract: An interrupt controller for controlling the routing and handling of interrupts received at a data processing apparatus including at least one physical processing unit configured to run at least one of a plurality of virtual processors and a memory. The interrupt controller includes redistribution circuitry with at least one data store corresponding to the unit, the data store storing a pointer to a virtual pending table storing currently pending virtual interrupts for a virtual processor currently running on the corresponding unit and a pointer to a pending table configured to store currently pending physical interrupts for the corresponding unit and an input configured to receive a virtual interrupt for interrupting a virtual processor. Control circuitry is configured to add the virtual interrupt to the virtual pending table and to store the virtual interrupt in the virtual pending table for the virtual processor that is stored in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20160180493
Abstract: Methods for preprocessing pixel data using a Direct Memory Access (DMA) engine during a data transfer of the pixel data from a first memory (e.g., a DRAM) to a second memory (e.g., a local cache) are described. The pixel data may derive from an image capturing device (e.g., a color camera or a depth camera) in which individual pixel values are not a multiple of eight bits. In some embodiments, the DMA engine may perform a variety of image processing operations on the pixel data prior to the pixel data being written into the second memory. In one example, the DMA engine may be configured to identify and label one or more pixels as being within a particular range of pixel values and/or the DMA engine may be configured to label pixels as belonging to one or more pixel groups based on their pixel values.
