Publication number: 20250110684Abstract: A second digital content renderer receives a communication indicating properties of a first content viewing area of a first digital content renderer and first state data of an object rendered in the first area, the data including a configuration of the object. The second renderer renders a second content viewing area having a portion that contains an interactive representation of the first area, the interactive representation including an indication of the object, and is rendered based on the received properties of the first area and first state data. The second renderer receives a user interaction within the interactive representation that changes the configuration of the object and generates second state data based on the change. The second renderer sends a communication to the first renderer indicating the second state data that causes the first renderer to modify the object rendered in the first area to conform with the change.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2023Publication date: April 3, 2025Inventors: Pete Jones, Adam Lancey, Jemal Patel

Patent number: 11371175Abstract: A laundry washing machine and method automate the selection of a load type for a laundry washing machine based in part on sensing multiple times during an initial fill phase of a wash cycle and based in part on a fluid level sensed by a fluid level sensor operatively coupled to a wash tub. The dynamic selection may be based at least in part on a first time at which the fluid level sensor senses a predetermined fluid level while water is being dispensed into the wash tub and a peak time at which the fluid level sensor senses a stabilization of fluid level after water is not being dispensed into the wash tub. The dynamic selection may also be accelerated by skipping the sensing of one or more times in response to determining that an earlier reached time meets a predetermined criterion.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: MIDEA GROUP CO., LTD.Inventors: Phillip C. Patent number: 10970681Abstract: A system for keeping track of an employee's attendance is described that allows the employee to be creative which also helps morale. An employee sets up an employee account and provides identification. A full body image is taken of the employee that is analyzed. Facial features may also be analyzed and stored. The employee then can create his/her own unique gesture which is captured and stored as a unique clock in gesture. He/she may also set up passwords and/or security questions if the gesture is not recognized. The employee then performs the unique clock in gesture to notify the system when he/she is beginning or leaving work. During clock in, the system checks human resource rules, accumulated work hours and characteristics of the employee's employment and clocks in the employee if it determines that the employee meets the rules and is allowed to clock in and work additional hours.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2017Date of Patent: April 6, 2021Assignee: WALMART APOLLO, LLCInventors: Steven Lewis, Nicholaus Adam Jones, Matthew Dwain Biermann

Patent number: 10955373Abstract: A technique for monitoring the quality of objects is disclosed. A container includes a multiple sensors and is configured to receive an object. The sensors monitor various metrics associated with the quality of the object, and a display is affixed to the container for displaying a visual indication of the quality of the object. The visual indication is based on data collected from the sensors. A quality monitoring module is executed by a processor to control the sensors to switch operation between a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation based on a detected change in one of the metrics monitored by the sensors.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2017Date of Patent: March 23, 2021Assignee: Walmart Apollo, LLCInventors: Bruce W. Patent number: 10910508Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating a backside-illuminated photodetector in which a device wafer is joined to a readout wafer in an IC hybridization step. Before the IC hybridization step, the device layer is defined in the device wafer, and an LPCVD layer is formed over the device layer. The LPCVD layer may be a passivation layer, an antireflection coating, or both. The side of the device wafer having the LPCVD layer is bonded to a handle wafer, the IC is hybridized by mating the device wafer to the readout wafer, and the handle wafer is then removed, exposing the LPCVD layer. Because the LPCVD layer is formed before the active devices are fabricated, it can be made by high-temperature techniques for deposition and processing. Accordingly, a layer of high quality can be fabricated without any hazard to the active devices.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2019Date of Patent: February 2, 2021Assignee: National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLCInventors: Randolph R.
