  • Publication number: 20140377725
Abstract: The invention establishes a set of nutritional profiles in a data processing system, which are utilized to establish an optimal meal menu for a given time and location and with regard to a set of available ingredients. The invention includes a profiling routine where a set of characteristics of a particular individual is entered. The characteristics are aggregated with data saved for other patrons. When an individual with an established profile enters a networked eatery, they initiate a menu routine by entering their identification. The routine matches the information with the aggregated data to determine a patron match, which in turn is matched with the set of characteristics to determine an optimal menu plan. The optimal menu plan is matched with the set of available ingredients to produce a menu. Selected menu items are recorded to the patron's nutritional profile which can be visually represented in any of several formats.

  • Publication number: 20140223099
Abstract: The CONTENT MANAGEMENT PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“CMP”) transform content seed selections and recommendations via CMP components such as discovery and social influence into events and discovery of other contents for users and revenue for right-holders. In one embodiment, the CMP may obtain content discovery supportive information for a universally resolvable user. The CMP may then determine apportionment heuristics among the obtained information for the user. In one implementation, the CMP may identify a first set of universally resolvable content items based on the determined apportionment heuristics and may create a caching queue that includes the identified first set of universally resolvable content items. The first set of universally resolvable content items in the caching queue may then be provided to the user.

  • Publication number: 20140081871
Abstract: The ENCRYPTION-FREE CONTENT PURCHASE PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“ECPP”) transform content seed selections and recommendations via ECPP components such as discovery and social influence into events and discovery of other contents for users and revenue for right-holders. In one embodiment, the ECPP may obtain from a user of a universally resolvable media content (“URMC”) service a request to purchase an unlocked URMC item. The ECPP may obtain the user's social influence metric in the service and a purchase price associated with the URMC content item. The ECPP may further determine, based on the user's social influence metric, a discount and provide the user an option to purchase the URMC content item at a purchase price reduced by the discount. The ECPP may receive from the user an indication and an authorization to purchase the URMC item, and in response, may charge an account associated with the user the purchase price reduced by the discount.

Abstract: The THRESHOLD REPORTING PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“TRP”) transform content seed selections and recommendations via TRP components such as discovery and social influence into events and discovery of other contents for users and revenue for right-holders. In one implementation, the TRP detects user initiation of a universally resolvable media content (“URMC”) event in a client and obtains the URMC event identifying information. In a further implementation, the TRP may record the URMC event identifying information in association with the event in an event log in the client. The TRM may obtain reporting frequency preference setting, wherein the preference setting includes at least one URMC user activity upload rule and may determine activation of a URMC upload threshold trigger by evaluating the at least one URMC user activity upload rule.

Abstract: The LICENSE MANAGEMENT PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“LMP”) transform content seed selections and recommendations via LMP components such as discovery and social influence into events and discovery of other contents for users and revenue for right-holders. In one embodiment, the LMP may detect a request to engage a universally resolvable media content (“URMC”) item. The LMP may obtain an expiration date for a URMC license token associated with the URMC item and may determining, based on the obtained expiration date, whether the license token is expired. The LMP may facilitate discarding of a license key associated with the expired license token and may deny the request to engage the URMC item with the associated expired license token. The LMP may provide a request for an updated token and requisite credentials for the updated token, obtain a response including an updated token and facilitate engaging of the requested URMC item with an associated valid updated token.

Abstract: The CONTENT DELIVERY PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“CDP”) transform content seed selections and recommendations via CDP components such as discovery and gurus into events and discovery of other contents for users and revenue for right-holders. In one embodiment, the CDP may provide facilities for obtaining a universally resolvable list of content items on a local client and identifying a non-local item from the list that is absent on the local client. The CDP may generate a local cache request for the identified non-local item having an associated universally resolvable content identifier and transmit the generated local cache request to a universally resolvable content server. The CDP may then receive, in response to the transmitted request, a universally resolvable content item corresponding to the local cache request and may mark the requested item as temporary and locally available upon receiving the content item.

  • Publication number: 20130297467
Abstract: The invention is a method and system for establishing a social networking system. A network platform for storing content of interest to a particular group is established. An interface means provides a pathway to access the content. The supporting platform comprises hardware supporting a series of applications which include a points system application for awarding points to a system member in respect of certain transactions facilitated by an exchange engine. A hierarchical structure is created within the system and is determined by establishing a ranking structure and placing each of the members at a particular rank level based upon a pre-determined level of points within their accounts. Each of the members receives access to a set of rewards; the rewards being made available to a particular rank level. Additionally, access to certain functionality within the social networking system is determined in accordance with rank structure.

  • Publication number: 20120233701
Abstract: The CONTENT LICENSE ACQUISITION PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“CLAP”) transform content seed selections and recommendations via CLAP components such as discovery and social influence into events and discovery of other contents for users and revenue for right-holders. The CLAP may identify an unlicensed content item and uniquely resolve it within a universally resolvable media content (“URMC”) service. The CLAP may obtain aggregate URMC service user engagement metric associated with the uniquely resolved content item during a predefined period of time and an aggregate URMC service user engagement metric associated with a plurality of URMC items during the predefined period of time. The aggregate URMC service user engagement metrics may be evaluated using at least one URMC license request threshold rule. A target for a license request for the uniquely resolved content item may be identified and the license request may be sent to the identified target.
