  • Publication number: 20240142983
Abstract: Construction vehicles using a teach and repeat system can ascertain boundaries of a task area while working, without knowing a perimeter of the task area before starting the task. The system maps a first path of the vehicle by recording a position of a vehicle moving from a first start position to a first end position. A second path is predicted, based on a shape of the first path, the second path having a second start position and a second end position. A third path is mapped from a third start position to a third end position. Boundaries of the task area are ascertained based on the first path, the first start position, the second start position, the third start position, the third path, the first end position, the second end position, and the third end position.

  • Publication number: 20240040295
Abstract: A microphone includes a housing. The microphone includes a windscreen coupled with the housing. The windscreen and the housing define a central volume. The microphone includes an audio module within the central volume. The audio module includes a receiver capsule, a carrier unit coupled with the receiver capsule, and a counterweight coupled with the carrier unit. The microphone includes a suspension element that is coupled with the housing and carrier unit to suspend the audio module within the central volume. The suspension element includes an inner body that contacts the carrier unit. The suspension element includes first and second flanges extending outward from the inner body. The first and second flange are fixedly coupled with the housing. A cross-section of the first and second flange includes an arched region that extends at least partially to an inner wall of the housing. The arched regions are oriented in opposite directions.

  • Patent number: 11284203
Abstract: A microphone capsule assembly includes a first microphone capsule oriented to face a first direction that is parallel to a first plane, a second microphone capsule oriented to face in a direction opposite to the first direction, where a front face of the second microphone capsule is spaced a distance from a front face of the first microphone capsule in the first direction, a third microphone capsule oriented to face in a second direction that is at a first acute angle to the first direction when measured parallel to the first plane, and a fourth microphone capsule oriented to face in a third direction that is at a second acute angle to the first direction when measured parallel to the first plane, where the third and fourth microphone capsules are spaced a distance from the front face of the first microphone capsule in the first direction.

  • Patent number: 11131978
Abstract: A metal fabrication resource performance monitoring method includes collecting data representative of a parameter sampled during one or more metal fabrication operations of one or more metal fabrication resources, the one or more resources being selectable by a user from a listing of individual and groups of resources, receiving event data comprising a time that an event occurred, via at least one computer processor, determining a first analyzed system parameter from the collected data, via the at least one computer processor, populating a dashboard page with graphical indicia representative of the first analyzed system parameter before and after the event, and transmitting the dashboard page to a user-viewable display.

  • Publication number: 20190129377
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for utilizing re-usable and re-configurable reporter modules in welding-type setups. A hardware-based reporting module may be used to handle reporting function. The hardware-based reporting module being configured to interface with a welding-type setup, to obtain welding-type data associated with the welding-type setup; and to interface with a remote central repository for communicating the obtained welding-type data, based on a predefined reporting format. The hardware-based reporting module is configured to process the welding-type data for communication to the remote central repository.

  • Patent number: 9980040
Abstract: Various examples related to determining a location of an active participant are provided. In one example, image data of a room from an image capture device is received. First audio data from a first microphone array at the image capture device is received. Second audio data from a second microphone array spaced from the image capture device is received. Using a three dimensional model, a location of the second microphone array is determined. Using the first audio data, second audio data, location of the second microphone array, and an angular orientation of the second microphone array, an estimated location of the active participant is determined.

  • Publication number: 20180096195
Abstract: Examples are disclosed herein that relate to face detection. One example provides a computing device comprising a logic subsystem and a storage subsystem holding instructions executable by the logic subsystem to receive an image, apply a tile array to the image, the tile array comprising a plurality of tiles, and perform face detection on at least a subset of the tiles, where determining whether or not to perform face detection on a given tile is based on a likelihood that the tile includes at least a portion of a human face.
