  • Patent number: 8939273
Abstract: A high speed servo laner apparatus and system includes an entrance to the laner which receives products from an upstream processing line. A pivoting guide has a distal end attached to the entrance and a proximal end attached to a movable portion. At least one pacing screw is also attached to the moveable portion. The at least one pacing screw includes a thread, which has a pitch and radius configured to accommodate passage of a unit of product between two axially adjacent portions of the thread.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 19, 2013
Date of Patent: January 27, 2015
    Assignee: Delkor Systems, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20140155238
Abstract: A carton forming machine has a forming assembly, a first carton dispenser, and a second carton dispenser. The forming assembly includes a forming head and a plurality of forming stations including a first forming station and a second forming station. The forming head has an axis of travel along which it moves to form a carton from multiple carton blanks. The first forming station is aligned with the second forming station along the axis of travel, and the forming head travels through the first and second forming stations.

  • Publication number: 20120325621
Abstract: A bulk product diverter and system for separating bulk product units into multiple product streams includes a unique conveyor assembly. The conveyor has a plurality of flights wherein the adjacent flights define buckets into which groups of bulk product units are placed. The conveyor conveys each bucket in a downstream direction along a horizontal path, then along a vertical path, then around a turn of approximately 150 degrees. A diverter fence is selectively movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the path defines a first gate through which acceptable product units are passed. In the closed position the product units continue around the turn to pass through a second gate.

  • Patent number: 6044875
Abstract: A product tank for a dual stream filling system is disclosed wherein the product tank has two chambers for containing different products that will be mixed within a carton during the filling process. The primary product in the primary chamber of the product tank may cool the secondary product in the secondary chamber. If the primary product is skim milk and the secondary product is cream, then products such as skim milk, one percent milk, two percent milk, four percent milk and cream may produced from the primary and secondary products. A filling complex is also disclosed wherein two product tanks are integrated with a filling system to fill cartons on two lines.

  • Patent number: 5992455
Abstract: A dual-stream filling system is used in a packaging machine to introduce at least two flowable materials into a plastic bottle. The dual-stream filling system defines a material flow path therethrough. The system includes a primary filling tube having an inlet end and a discharge end and defining a primary filling tube internal flow region. A secondary filling tube has an inlet end and an outlet end and defines a secondary filling tube internal flow region. The secondary filling tube is positioned at least in part within the primary filling tube internal flow region, penetrating the primary filling tube through the first opening.
