Patent number: 11972469Abstract: A system for categorizing, visualizing, and recommending Cannabis products based on objective data of the chemical composition of products is described. This system allows Cannabis products to be visualized and compared based on their chemical composition, even by laypeople with little or no knowledge of the underlying objective data. A recommendation system is built upon this which can recommend products for consumption, including a user interface for receiving user input, which includes at least one of demographic data, desired level of psychoactivity, or prior experience with the product, a merchant interface for receiving merchant input, including at least one of general data descriptive of the regulated product, lab data descriptive of the regulated products chemical composition, and user data descriptive of subjective effects of the regulated product on a user; and a decision engine making a recommendation of product according to correlation of the lab data with the user data.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 2021Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Leafly Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Nickolas Jikomes, Marc Brandon Hensley, Jason Makuch, Andrew MacRae, Nathan Lauer, Matthew Bollen, Stephanie Smith, Camille Lim, Michael Wityk, Adam Hilborn, Sam Starr, Christian Ramsey, Renata Le Duartes, III, Santiago Seira, Anna Zeng

Patent number: 11939206Abstract: Some embodiments include a fluid control system with an outlet valve assembly, an inlet valve assembly including a venturi inlet valve, and an actuator coupled to the inlet valve assembly. In some embodiments, the actuator can enable a user to control a flush volume of fluid control system. Some embodiments include a moveable float positioned in a chamber of the outlet valve assembly, where the chamber includes a variably-sized upper portion with a volume that is based at least in part on a variable position of the moveable float in the chamber. Some embodiments include a adjustable control valves coupled to an outer surface of the outlet valve assembly and the inlet valve assembly. Some embodiments also include a bellows positioned in and coupled to the variably-sized upper portion. In some embodiments, the bellows are fluidly coupled to the venturi inlet valve and at least one of the control valves.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: FLUIDMASTER, INC.Inventors: Tuan Le, Adam Sampson

Patent number: 11774573Abstract: A system for determining a stationary state of a rail vehicle on a track includes a first radar mounted at an end of the rail vehicle and a second radar mounted at another end of the rail vehicle. A speed sensor is mounted on the rail vehicle. A series of fixed reflective track features are found along the track. A processing unit, communicably connected with the speed sensor, the first radar and the second radar receives data from the first radar and the second radar corresponding to the distance to the fixed reflective track features and determines the stationary state or low-speed condition of the rail vehicle and checks the state or condition by comparing it with an output of the speed sensor.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2020Date of Patent: October 3, 2023Assignee: THALES CANADA INC.Inventors: Adam Le, Tyler Daoust, David Beach, Alon Green

Patent number: 10977964Abstract: A system for displaying electronic shelf labels (ESLs) or other devices includes a label holder. The label holder includes a base plate, adhesive, suction cups, and dowels. The base plate has two opposing side upon which an ESL may be adhesively engaged and supported. When supporting a single ESL on only one side of the base plate, the opposite side of the base plate may be equipped with suction cups or front facing dowels with which the label holder may be attached to a surface. When supporting ESLs on both sides of the base plate, dowels may be inserted along perimeter surfaces of the base plate in order to allow the holder to be secured into or onto surfaces having openings capable of receiving the exposed ends of the dowels, such as those constructed of pegboard, etc.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2020Date of Patent: April 13, 2021Assignee: BBY Solutions, Inc.Inventor: Adam Le
