Abstract: A system, device, and autologous method for treating blood. Blood is extracted from a patient. The blood is tested to determine one or more pathogens and conditions of the blood. One or more catalysts are automatically added into the blood of the patient. The one or more catalysts are activated utilizing the one or more emitters configured to interact with the one or more catalysts in the blood create treated blood. One or more additives are added into the threated blood. The treated blood is reinjected into the patient.

Abstract: A hazard identification and correction method comprising the steps of viewing a field of view of an environment from a first visual perspective, viewing the field of view of the environment from a second visual perspective, identifying a hazard within the field of view; and correcting the hazard, wherein the viewing step includes directing a gaze of the viewer toward a periphery of the field of view before directing the gaze to spiral radially inwardly toward a center of the field of view and scanning the field of view for areas of high contrast before then scanning the field of view for areas of low contrast.

Abstract: Battery power consumption and data transfer latency of an electro-optical reader in a wireless network are minimized by turning a radio off in a default state, and by turning the radio on only after the reader has generated data to be transferred along the network.

Abstract: A system and method described for tracking portable devices. The system may include a transmitter which transmits wireless inquiries to a plurality of portable devices and a receiver receiving replies to the inquiries from the portable devices. In addition, the system may include a memory storing identifier data corresponding to the portable devices and a processor coupled to the memory and to the receiver, the processor retrieving from each reply, identifier data uniquely identifying a particular one of the portable devices which generated the reply and comparing the identifier data to the stored identifier data. Furthermore, the system may include an alarm system coupled to the processor and controlled based on the comparison of stored identifier data to the identifier data retrieved from the replies.

Abstract: Wireless data communications using a master/slave protocol are easily established between a master radio module which is part of a POS terminal and a slave radio module which is part of a portable bar code scanning device. A bar code identifying the portable bar code scanning device is provided on the outside of the housing of the portable device. By scanning this bar code with a scanner associated with the POS terminal, such as a fixed scanner built onto a counter, the master/slave radio communications link can be automatically implemented.
