  • Publication number: 20240005302
Abstract: A terminal and associated method is provided for dispensing a non-volatile memory storage device for storing user private information to a user. A device dispenser securely stores private information on a removable non-volatile memory storage device and then dispenses the removable non-volatile memory storage device to the user. A processor provides a user interface to the user, provides the user with access to a source of user private information via the user interface, receives the user private information from the source, and transfers the received user private information to the device dispenser for storage on the removable non-volatile memory storage device. The source may be a remote website for a cryptocurrency exchange. The user private information may be information, such as public and private keys, representing cryptocurrency ownership. The non-volatile memory storage device may be a cold wallet storage device.

  • Patent number: 8844284
Abstract: The invention relates to an internal combustion engine system (1), particularly in a motor vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine (2), a fresh gas system (3) for supplying fresh gas to the internal combustion engine (2), an exhaust gas system (4) for discharging exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine (2), and an exhaust gas recirculation system (5) for removing exhaust gas from the exhaust gas system (4) at a removal point (11) and introducing the removed exhaust gas into the fresh gas system (3) at an introduction point (12). In order to improve exhaust gas recirculation, the exhaust gas system (4) is equipped with an exhaust gas valve (14) downstream of the removal point (11) in order to control the penetrable cross-section of the exhaust gas system (4).

  • Patent number: 8176902
Abstract: The invention relates to an internal combustion engine system, especially in a motor vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine, a make-up gas installation for supplying make-up gas to the internal combustion engine, an exhaust gas installation for evacuating the exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine, and an exhaust gas recirculation installation for extracting exhaust gas from the exhaust gas installation and introducing the extracted exhaust gas into the make-up gas installation. In order to improve the exhaust gas recirculation, two make-up gas paths through which make-up gas can flow in parallel are formed in a control section of the make-up gas installation, a make-up gas valve being arranged in each make-up gas path, for controlling the cross-section of the respective path through which gas can flow.
