  • Publication number: 20240105300
Abstract: A facility for causing the refill of prescriptions is described. The facility conducts a conversational exchange with a person. From the exchange, the facility discerns (1) an intent of refilling a prescription, and (2) an identification of a prescription to be fulfilled. In response to this discerning, the facility causes a pharmacy refill order to be placed on behalf of the person for the identified prescription.

  • Patent number: 11933545
Abstract: A thermal energy storage system utilizes a high temperature storage segment having flow passages extending through the storage segment whereby a working fluid can extract energy from the storage system for powering conventional downstream equipment. A mixing manifold cooperates with an outlet manifold for reducing the temperature of the working fluid to a temperature safe for the downstream equipment. The mixing manifold, an outlet manifold, an inlet manifold and a support base for the high temperature storage segment, are all of a high temperature tolerant material allowing the high temperature storage segment to operate at temperatures in excess of 1000° C. and preferably to temperatures above 1400° C. The temperature of the working fluid provided to the conventional equipment can be managed to be below a maximum temperature which in many cases may be about 700° C.

  • Patent number: 11671644
Abstract: A programmable and universal video platform enabling digital ads from ad sales teams, online digital exchanges, demand side platforms or other digital video advertising aggregators, to be inserted into linear television cable programming feeds.

  • Patent number: 11405697
Abstract: A programmable and universal video platform enabling digital ads from ad sales teams, online digital exchanges, demand side platforms or other digital video advertising aggregators, to be inserted into linear television cable programming feeds. Content programmers distribute a programming schedule file for each linear programming feed. This data is then combined in the traffic and billing system with the advertising insertion orders from the various sales channels to create a local ad insertion schedule file. This schedule file includes a planned ad spot, but a time-based approach to ad insertion allows the schedule file to be modified such that the planned ad spot can be replaced with a replacement ad selected using the VAST digital ad selection protocol. Detection of the standard cue message in the programming feed triggers insertion of the replacement ad from the modified schedule file.

  • Patent number: 11057134
Abstract: A programmable and universal video serving platform enabling brand safe digital ads to be inserted into linear television cable and broadcast programming feeds. A linear programming feed includes a cue message that indicates a spot for ad insertion into the programming feed. Detection of the cue message triggers the generation of a VAST protocol ad request from the video serving platform to a digital ad server, the request including programmable fields that are configured to obtain data to generate standard and custom VAST tag information, including audience impression information and distribution platform information as needed. The digital ad server delivers a VAST response back to the video serving platform identifying a digital ad for insertion, and the video serving platform enables playout of the selected digital ad during the designated insertion spot into the programming feed.

  • Patent number: 9367877
Abstract: A communication device may receive an employee skill certification badge request for: (i) a first employee of an insurance enterprise, and (ii) a first employee skill category of a plurality of potential categories. Information about the received may be stored, and a badge server may gather and store data (e.g., quantitative and/or qualitative data) in an electronic evidence file based the first employee's interactions with customers during normal performance of his or her employment. A first manager of the first employee may be determined, and the badge server may receive from the first manager an indication that the electronic evidence file meets a threshold criteria. Responsive to the received indication, the badge server may associate the first employee with the first employee skill certification badge and transmit data to cause display of an icon associated with the first employee skill certification badge on other remote devices.
