  • Patent number: 11935359
Abstract: Gaming systems, gaming devices and methods that provide games that control volatility. In one embodiment, the gaming system disclosed herein enables a player to select values, or cells associated with values, that are displayed in a particular arrangement. The player selected values are distributed to other values or cells according to one or more predefined rules. In one embodiment, one or more of the player selectable values are progressive award values. At some point during the game, the gaming system randomly picks one of the remaining values that have not been selected and provides an award to the player based at least in part on the selected value.

  • Patent number: 9552690
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system and method for determining the volatility of a game based on one or more external data feeds. Generally, the system is configured to communicate with and collect data from one or more external data feeds, use the collected data to determine volatility data representing the volatility of a game, and provide one or more plays of the game having the volatility represented by the volatility data. In various embodiments, the system includes a volatility determination system including a data accumulator, an external feed data analyzer, and a metric data analyzer; and a gaming system. The volatility determination system collects the data from the external data feeds and uses the collected data to determine the volatility data representing the volatility of the game, and the gaming system provides a play of the game having the volatility represented by the determined volatility data.

  • Patent number: 9147307
Abstract: A gaming system displays a plurality of bingo cards each containing at least one column, each column having at least one square. Each square includes a random number selected from a range associated with that column. The gaming system displays each bingo card and an initially-empty accumulation area. Balls are drawn from a pool of balls, each ball associated with a number. As the balls are drawn, any square on any of the bingo cards containing the number of the drawn ball is marked with a suitable indicator. A primary award is provided for combinations of marked squares on one or more of the bingo cards. The gaming system displays the balls in the accumulated area in the order in which they are drawn. The gaming system provides a secondary award for combinations of balls displayed in the accumulation area.
