Abstract: A pick-up tool for grasping night crawlers includes a handle, an operating trigger pivotally attached to the handle, a shaft attached to the handle, a jaws supporting member attached to the shaft, jaws movably attached to the member, a spring attached to the jaws for normally biasing the jaws into an open position, a cord attached to the jaws and extending through the supporting member and the shaft, and an arrangement of openings and slots in operative relationship with the trigger and the cord for holding the cord and for enabling adjustment of the position of the cord, the trigger and the jaws.
